I might be getting the PHB mostly for the backgrounds. They are a great add-on for any kind of game. I'm really not sure if my group is moving on from 4E or not.

Well, they have the pdf only basic set coming out in a couple of weeks and that seems like a prime target for translation. I personally find it very improbable WOTC will not publish and foreign language stuff, but they may not do it now or soon. That I can believe.

It will be Amazon for me, and not even Amazon Japan. Shipping should take two weeks or so, so end of July for me.

If I end up playing it with my group I will buy a lot, but that is very doubtful at the moment.
