Can you teleport onto a ship?

If you can teleport onto a ship, since that is a destination, why not the back of a flying dragon ? [Nobody had gone up the slippery slope yet :)]

Converting Sovereign Stone magic system to D&D

What do you mean ? SS is already "converted" to D&D. If there is a spell you want, just remake it using the rules presented in the Codex. The "core" 3e spells are not necessarily balanced enough that you can just multiply spell level by 15 to get the CT.

    Discovering messages/notes/etc.

If you really want to do something unique, try the Roman Legion code. Take a long skinny piece of paper. Wrap it around a stick. Write your message down the side of the stick and then unwrap the paper. If you don't have a stick of the proper diameter, it will be really hard to decipher.

How do YOU use Power Attack?

Two words Damage Reduction :) It is useful to use power attack when your opponent has DR, then you are at least doing some damage.

XP availability for NPC crafting Magic items

A simple suggestion Most NPCs with generate a certain amount of gold per month based upon their profession. On page 241 of the DMG we see that each XP = 5 gold. So, figure out how much gold the NPC makes and divide that by 5 to calculate how much xp they get per month for making items or...

Clerics healing HP damage to subdual

My 2 Coppers Having healing spells convert damage to subdual damage should work fine. You don't need to compensate the cleric in anyway for this. I like the suggestion that when your are at negative damage due to subdual, you are staggered. That should mitigate the problem of a player going...

    Non-Vancian magic system?

In the Sovereign Stone you don't roll to determine how many spells you know. The number of spells you know is based upon your intelligence and you get to pick the spells from your element. Anything beyond that is what your DM put onto the system.

A new feat born of nessecity

I don't really see this as a valuable feat. The one minute of study gives you ten rounds of trying to break something. If you use Aid Another with two other people that gives you a +4 bonus. Plus through role-playing you should be able to gain at least a +2 circumstance bonus.

    Archer core class

While I think that Sovereign Stone has some good ideas, the Archer class in not one of them. You can build a better Archer with just a straight fighter and give up less.

Help me make this class playable!

What you have created here is the Stunning Fist series of feats, but made them so powerful that it completely overshadows both the Monk and the Fighter Classes. If you have Masters of the Wild, look at the Bloodhoud for a more balanced approach. Otherwise, you have built in Falling Star Strike...

    ECL for proposed creature template.

You won't find this template to popular with your PCs. At most a +1 ECL (but I would rate it at +0 ECL). The disadvantage of having to drop all of your gear is quite substantial for most player characters. For a NPC it doesn't really change their capabilities. This is a equivalent to the...

Ideas on a feat: Mounted cleave

No, I was talking about extending the concept of the "Mounted Cleave" to Fly-By and Spring Attack. Spears are used pretty much the same way as lances are on horseback. Though D&D doesn't really represent it, lance were dropped if you actually impaled someone. They were the initial shock...

    Restricted spelllists for clerics

This was tried in 2e when the spells were broken up into spheres. A good idea in theory, but a bad one in practice. To do this properly you will have to design balanced spell lists for each diety that includes a reasonable spell selection. That will also mean that you might have to create new...

    psionics without psionic combat

I don't see a problem with dropping Psionic Combat either. It would only be a problem if you use the Psionics are different option.

Need help for new PC race

Aasimar The Aasimar have a +2 Wis and +2 Cha and make great clerics and paladins. However, if you want a good cleric, use +2 Wis, -2 Dex instead. A good paladin would definitely be +2 Wis, -2 INT. I agree that you are looking for a race that is intuitive and probably intune with nature...

D&D 3.x Noble PC class (SW/3e hybrid to make viable PC choice)

Re: My opinion Current noblility is not really comparable here. Also, most of the "Nobles" you refer to in the rest of your post we already have classes for -- the Cleric, the Fighter, the Paladin. The problem with Favors and Wealth is that the character shows up for the first ten minutes...

    Mass Warfare

A mass combat system This is by far the simplest Mass Combat system that I have found. I forgot where I found it. If someone remembers I would really like to credit the author. I think this works for most battles that the players will be involved in. It is pure 3e and uses all of the same...

Ideas on a feat: Mounted cleave

Yes you get a +1 bonus for being mounted and attacking a medium-size creature or smaller. (see PHB pg. 138, Combat while Mounted). Note, if you are using a lance when charging it makes sense to hit one opponent, but not more than one. If you are using a melee weapon, then you should be able to...

D&D 3.x Noble PC class (SW/3e hybrid to make viable PC choice)

I am still looking at it but here is my first comment: Listen, Read Lips, Spot, & Wilderness Lore seem out of place with this class concept. Also, I would limit them to medium armors and not allow heavy, you are (I assume) not representing a knight here. Also, why all martial weapons ? It...

Ideas on a feat: Mounted cleave

my quibble You should add "when making a Ride-By Attack (which requires a charge)" to this, that handles your other issues. If they are not charging then the standard cleave rules apply.
