Archer core class

My issue with EWP Bow is that it permits you to alternate between what is basically a club attack to a ranged attack every round. That's rather potent in itself. You may consider either (A) scaling the damage to account for the Archer's ability to do so or (B) hold it until 5th Level or so at the current damage.

Also, if Sovereign Stone does have a precident class (Thanks, Earth's Shadow!), you may want to review it as suggested.

While I think that Sovereign Stone has some good ideas, the Archer class in not one of them. You can build a better Archer with just a straight fighter and give up less.

Ok amended once again. Point blank shot at first level. At second level EWP must be either bow or arrow. 6th level second EWP for the choice not taken at second level.

How does that sound to you guys?

I dont like gleening ideas from sources that arent open domain to use. I think that we here can come up with ideas at least as good as stuff that is published out there.

Whole-heartily agree.

For Increased Training:

Hunter: Gain Wilderness Lore and Intuit Direction as Class Skills. You gain two bonus ranks in each skill.

And I'd say it's looking a bit cleaner, more defined yet allowing customization, which is key to d20.
