Yeah I'm not really seeing the issue here. A vanilla +6 weapon is worse than a +6 vorpal one? Stop the presses. And remember, the vorpal weapon is 3 times as expensive as the vanilla one. Heck we can probably just wait until the Adventurer's Vault book comes out, and when we can have a +6 maul...

The weapons having non-identical results does not make this unbalanced. There's nothing in the numbers you posted that is going to break the game.

But it doesn't average the same. The +1 for TWF is not multiplied by the number of dice. It is just a flat +1.

With the underdark monsters we have so far being mostly paragon-tier, pegging duergar as low level heroic tier monsters seems a little off to me.

Why is it clear for the rogue weapon talent that it applies only when using that weapon, but not clear for the rogue powers? They're worded exactly the same way. "You must be wielding a [whatever]".

Would you also contend that a rogue gets +1 to attack with his longsword if he's holding a dagger in his off hand? Or that his longsword goes up to 1d10 if he's holding a shuriken?

The rogue powers typically call out explicitly that you must be wielding a light blade.
