Why is the existing rule that you need to meet the requirements to start a new class, insufficient?

What exactly would we need a specific rule for ability score reductions for? There isn't any rule for what happens when ability scores increase either, you just use the new value in all calculations from then on.

I'd track the duration of the effects completely separately. The character remains frightened until he's no longer subject to any effect that causes it.

I have run several published campaigns with good results. Have you ever used AI content as a DM or are you just making assumptions? What is the actual difference between using published content and generated content?

How is that different from a DM using a published campaign? Are they also by definition "never creative"?
