The Hobby will never die, the SRD is out there, theres a host of 3rd party companies able to use the base rules set, even if WoTC did go belly up (unlkiely I suspect) theres still going to be a whole host of material out there..... :) Huzzah

Mind if I step in too... ;) What are you supposed to do as a writer, who wants to write something for d20...... well probably something similar to all the other writers and publishers out there, theres a wealth of d20 material and some heavy weight d20 companies out there who have been coping...

Hopefully I plan on being there, depends how the job front goes.... or if I get thsi house sold too.. ;)

Got to agree with Linnorm here, yes it is a right pain in the ....... neck that certain creatures have been "removed" from the SRD, beleive me I know, gotta go back to the drawing board on something that was near completion.... But at the end of the day what was the alternative, to wait until...

I don't think there is any money in them for WoTC they have much higher overheads and costs than with the 3rd Party Publishers out there, but as I just said there are many fine adventures out there by 3rd parties
