    The $40 mark is broken

There are quite a few Traveller fans (and fans of other games) who would disagree. Many Traveller fans don't necessarily play the game but instead enjoy tinkering with the design mechanics.

    The $40 mark is broken

??? You lost me here. Why by books at all when you can simply use your imagination and make it all up yourself? That's free. Remember playing cops and robbers (or similar) as a kid?

    The $40 mark is broken

We've sold out of the first print run (5000) that was released in October and we are having to look at a second print run. I'd say it hasn't been a real issue. If you compare it to other books, T20 is fairly inexpensive per page at 464 pages.

    The $40 mark is broken

Traveller20 is $44.95 and out since October 2002. Price has not been a real issue on selling it.

    Traveller (T20) and Cybertech

Seems to be doing pretty well so far. We've sold over 5000 copies since it was released in Oct. We are having to go to a second print run to meet demand.

What's the oldest RPG Product you own?

Err GURPS didn't exist in 1977 much less GURPS Traveller. Are you sure you don't mean Classic Traveller? Speaking of CT, I have the 6th publish copy of the original 1st Edition of Traveller! The absolute pride of my collection!

    T20 updates

Yup the TA series got behind as we have been working on getting new print material ready to go. But as the latest update noted, TA #3 will be available at the end of this week, TA #4 will be out next week, and we get back on a monthly track in February.

What kind of Sales can you expect from PDF?

Well since other folks are doing it ;) We only have 2 PDFs available through RPGNow and RPG.net mall (though I have a few others to add and some upcoming projects). One is free and one is $5.00 We definitely sell MANY more PDFs through RPGNow than RPG.net by about 10 to one. Then again we sell...

    Traveller T20

Joe, I do understand where you are coming from, but the problem is that WotC has not made it possible to use Star Wars as a 'core' science-fiction ruleset because it is not OGL. Because of the fact it will take additional money for a company to (possibly) obtain such rights, you automatically...

    Why Can't d20 Handle sci-fi?

You want a 'unified d20 sci-fi system' but you have not stated on what you want that based. You mention in another thread that you wished these games were compatible with Star Wars. But I pointed out that they could not be because there is nothing from Star Wars that is OGL. Yes we could have...

    Spies in Space!!!

T20 is out and in stores now. Me, I'd love a Spycraft/T20 cross-over campaign. Shouldn't be too hard to do.

    Traveller T20

You asked why Fading Suns, Dragonstar, Farscape, and Traveller aren't compatible with Star Wars when other companies had already licensed mechanics from WotC for their games. Since they obviously didn't license Star Wars, I figure it's a given that one of the reasons why is because they didn't...

    Traveller T20

That's pretty much a given isn't it? Considering that none of us went for a paid license and used the d20 license instead. Does it really need to be spelled out? Me, I'm not interested in licensing the mechanics from Star Wars. The money it would cost isn't worth it. As far as losing any...

    Traveller T20

Umm that would be because no one can make anything compatible with Star Wars. None of the material from Star Wars is OGL.

    Generic Space Opera Supplements

The main T20 book doesn't cover alternate forms of FTL, but I am tinkering with something along those lines in my spare time and considering publishing them as part of an alternate tech supplement of some form.

    Generic Space Opera Supplements

If you have a good generic sci-fi adventure or supplement idea that can be used in many different setting we'd be more than happy to consider it for publication.
