I'm mostly worried because the Authority as a concept works when it's used as a commentary/contrast on traditional superheroes, but Snyder's Justice League is already informed by the Authority and so there's no real contrast there. And future movies are going to be informed one way or the other...

I would bet actual money that the rights to the old FASERIP system are a licensing nightmare and nobody is sure who owns what and it isn't worth the money to them to try to find out. And that's why a blind eye has always been turned to the fan sites posting scans of that material.

Cynically, I think Dancey understands the TTRPG market too well to know what the folks at Wizards now will or will not see as necessary to go forward.
