The only difference I see in the non-US figures is that they are known as 'International Heroes'; most still say GI Joe. I also found some US figures that I never heard of. The Lunatrix Empire alien figures and the Icecream Soldier? Good thing they appeared at the end of the GI Joe-era. :D...

I don't hate gnomes themselves, but more of how they are portrayed as care-free tricksters or whacked-out tinkerers. Dragonlance really made me dislike gnomes as well, but I always did like kender. :p I prefer gnomes to be more like tiny nature-loving fey creatures or as the war-like minions...

My DMG and MM are holding up fine, but my PHBs are worrying me. Their pages are seperating from the spine and Im to afraid to open them. In fact that is why I bought two of 'em.

Sorry to bust into the conversation, but since your talking about swords I have a question. Is it necessary to have the sword polished, oiled, sharpened, whatever, to keep it nice and shiny? What happens if you don't take care of it? I now let the conversaion roll on again. :D
