This is the edition where they removed sexuality though. I guess they assume that GMs that want that can add it into their game. I've always found that that sort of thing doesn't work in my group anyway. If it happens its done off camera.

Yes it is. I think because the owner lives in the back or behind ancient board games on the shelves.

I think the problem was the Game Stores we had decided to stock every CCG that was put out and no one bought into those. Because the game stores in Houston were all owned by the same people they went out of business because of that bad decision.

I miss the Monstrous Compendiums with the three ring binders. I would take the pages of the monsters I use in my adventure out and collect them together for ease of use.

In Houston, game stores were wiped out by collectible card games and they still haven't recovered. Nowadays there is basically only a handful of game stores and most of them sell RPG games as a tertiary product over comics and card games.

The bard has great stats as well.

I don't see the need to have video at all. There isn't much need to see 5 faces despite the drawings of a sun god pooting.

My small group does it all the time out of necessity. A lot of times the secondary character takes a backseat to the favored character but they do get some spotlight when their background comes to fore. Also it helps try out multiple character ideas without having to change campaigns or switch...

That's not really my point. I want content that I can use beyond a single campaign. Having an adventure set in a different setting than the forgotten realms doesn't mean much if it's only contained in the adventure.

My problem with Ravenloft is there is no life to a campaign there. I want settings where I can have more than one campaign without feeling redundant. For WotC to say "We are giving you Ravenloft because you said we won't visit other settings" I think they are missing the point. Ravenloft is...
