I'm not sure people are saying that they will get bored with 5e and stop playing if they aren't more books. Maybe one guys is but they are a minority. That being said, the demand for more than 3 core books is out there.

So if they come out with a second monster manual are you going to stop playing it after 2? I don't really understand why you only want to play if it keeps to 3 books? You don't have to buy any more books.

But it makes sense doesn't it? You can't load a crossbow with your hands full. You can however have it preloaded before a fight and fire it once with a weapon in your other hand.

I think he didn't word it correctly. You get an extra die after you have rolled your disadvantage and have an undesired result. and you can pick the first undesired result or the result of the luck die.

I actually think they should pick a different setting to be the first campaign setting book. EVERYTHING they have put out is set in the Realms. A setting book set elsewhere would give people who don't like the Realms another option.

It's the Forgotten Realms. Maybe they should do an Evil that fits with that setting like the Zentarim or the Red Wizards.

Not at all. Flying PCs make great targets. What would bother me more about them is the fact that they aren't relatable to most NPCs in my campaign. It always annoys me when a player wants to play alien looking characters because I either have to treat them like they are a walking freak...

I'd leave it open. If they are fighting a storm and the pilot needs to keep the ship facing the waves, then it would be a Strength check. If it's trying to figure how to best use the wind, then I could see Intelligence. If it's to avoid bottoming out on a reef, wisdom.
