    D&D Class Survivor -- Round 1

If I had to eliminate a class, I think I'd go with the Paladin because of all of the alignment and code arguements it has motivated.

    Best adventure for . . .

No, I don't work for Green Ronin. Another idea is to simply give your party Hats of Diguise to conceal their weird appearances..

    Best adventure for . . .

In general, I'd think that the 2E Spelljammer and Planescape adventures probably work the best with "nonstandard" races because of the far-out settings and tolerant communities like Sigil. I recommend in particular Dead Gods as the cream of the crop as far as these particular adventures go...

    Adventures with strong intrigue/plot?

The Freeport trilogy I highly recommend. What initially starts out as a dissappearance develops into a great plot to bring down the city of Freeport, a rough-and-tumble pirate town. I think Green Ronin is planning on releasing a revised version of it in the near future. Plenty of social...

What OTHER game magazines do you read? (besides Dragon or Dungeon)

I've picked and choosed a few invidual magazines. I liked Steve Jackson GAMES/GURPS's best of Pyramid Magazine (mostly for the Discworld and Goblins stuff) as well as a few issues of ENWorld Gamer (Issue 2 is my favorite- many interesting and multiple-context-use items- The Teenage Hotrod...

The horrors of constant True Seeing...

First of all, it might be good to ask what your world is like. Is it filled with hidden secrets and conspiracies, spirits lurking behind every shadow? It would probably be best if all of these bad things were lurking in the background already before the PC got the this new ability. It might be...

A Sore Thumb: Ways for a Chinese girl to stand out?

What about unusually large feet? This might make for an interesting character, considering the old practice of footbinding. Perhaps it relates somehow or is symbolic of her acrobatic ability and angry personality.

    Cleric, heal my horse!!

You have a warhorse, right? That goes without saying. The previously mentioned Awaken and Leadership cohort idea is good if you know a friendly druid. Another alternative is to buy it magical barding if you can.

    I've got a rep!

sighs I apparently also have this reputation, as my players say that sometimes. I'll have to work on that. :heh: Another thing that struck me was my players got me a bumper sticker with skull and crossbones that says "When the GM smiles, it's already too late." One thing that struck me last...

    Surprisingly Useful Spells

Tongues and to a lesser degree, Comprehend Languages. These spells always seem to be taken by the spellcaster player in the group. Tongues been used to understand enemies speaking tactics to each other in foreign tongues, understand foreign language arcane lore, and interact with numerous...

Why do the Far Realms exist?

Other people have said it better, but I'll throw in my two gps. The Far Realm is something that exists outside of our perceived reality. It was based on H.P. Lovecraft's works describing (not in a real coherent, multiversal sense) a worldview where all of our laws of reality and distinctions...

    Dragon 331 has arrived

This looks sweet. Now all we need is for gem dragon classes to run Council of Wyrms.

    Ah! Tarrasque!

You say Laughing Boy (what I'll refer to this crazy mage/ruler you're talking about) has messed with tarrasques before? You might be able to use this to your advantage- this gives the game world precedence on dealing with these beasts? How has people reacted to the tarrasques in the past- this...

Exploration in worlds where magic exists

Exploration in the traditional sort would work best in low to mid levels. Most sort of transportation magics, though, are for instantaneous travel to and from somewhere; this ironically leaves little for exploring things in between. In high fantasy, overland flight, flying carpets, and airships...

    Spells of Mass Destruction

Well, Gate is nice to just summon a really powerful fiend (like a balor) if you cast proctection from Evil on yourself before hand and then let the demon/devil go wild on whatever location you are in. Mongoose's Encyclopedia Arcane: Necromancy: Beyond the Grave has some very powerful...

Looking for a "good" module drama-wise (maybe 2E?)

I would recommend the Freeport trilogy, especially if you can also get the Freeport city book. Plenty of NPCs, investigation, drama, and social interaction nicely mixed with site exploration, swashbuckling, and Lovecraftian goodness.

    Moigno

Converted from the Planescape Planes of Law Boxed Set. This one was a tough one, so I'd appreciate any feedback. MOIGNO Tiny Outsider (Extraplanar, Lawful) Hit Dice: 2d8+2 (11 hp) Initiative: +6 (Dex) Speed: Fly instantaneous (perfect) AC: 18 (+6 Dex, +2 size), touch 18, flatfooted 12 Base...

    D&D/D20 Vampires and Werewolves...

There are several variant vampire strains as well as one or two variant werewolves in Ravenloft's Denizens of Dread. The old 2E Van Richten's Guides might be useful as well.

    Can someone tell me somethings...

I don't know about the Warmage, but the eldritch knight isn't a core class, it's a PrC in the DMG for fighter/wizards multiclass. You can view the eldritch knight on WotC's SRD webpage: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35. If you're asking for copying information from...
