why would bard get the 2nd highest votes? IMHO it fits well within the midevil fantasy genre. Now monk I voted for and it leads the polling as of today...and I can understand why.

If I had to eliminate a class, I think I'd go with the Paladin because of all of the alignment and code arguements it has motivated.

I voted to eliminate bards not because I dislike the concept but because I think it's the worst-designed class in the Player's Handbook. Even with the improvements made to it in the revision it's still sucky.

Why does everyone seem to dislike the Bard? What other class can have a +11 to Diplomacy at 2nd level (before Cha modifer is added and racial mods if you choose half-elf). Bards are so much fun to play, because what is more fun that acting like an actor (and an over-actor at that)!!
