WH40K Wrath & Glory Is Here!

But my point is, I already know those systems, can work with their complexity. What is another system going to give me that warrants the oppurtunity cost of learning it. None of them can get nearly as specific as those three systems I listed. So there are plenty of systems, but why take the...

WH40K Wrath & Glory Is Here!

I ordered those through my game store. Not all of them by any means. I planned to do it piecemeal but now I doubt if we'll even get the PDF's completed.

WH40K Wrath & Glory Is Here!

I'm a very experienced gamer. If its not the systems I have been playing a version of for the past 20 years I don't even pay attention to it. Its a non starter for me. I'm willing to try the Fantasy Flight Star Wars. But given a new RPG to play sci fi? How could it do better than Traveller...

WH40K Wrath & Glory Is Here!

I hope that's the case. But they ARE a small firm. I worry how far their resources can go. And 40K, Age of Sigmar, and WFRP all share the same lore expertise.

WH40K Wrath & Glory Is Here!

Cubicle 7 is also going through some Consumer Confidence issues. Even before the pandemic they have been late on products. I should have had my Enemy in Shadows books in November.

WH40K Wrath & Glory Is Here!

I love cubicle 7 but I wish they would focus. I am still awaiting my Enemies in Shadows WFRP Supplements that keep getting delayed. I have the PDF of part I but no word on the collectors items books. I am happy for 40K RPG but I really wish they would have just gotten WFRP Squared away first.

    New Dice from Q-Workshop

Stopped using Q workshop for this reason. I collect dice though so I usually get some, theyre just impractical. I really do like the Dice that were released like 11 years ago with the Pathfinder Arabian adventure Path #19. They're really nice, but even those can be hard to read.

The Yellow King RPG Has Arrived

Are Games like this good for long term campaigns or are they all story bound? I see alot of indie games that seem to just be set ups for specific stories. I haven't explored indie games like this much.

    D&D 5E (2014) Ed Greenwood's Border Kingdoms Now Available (& Official!)

I know that George has said he is working with another person on a major area. He is currently working on it. It will be a supplement for 3rd edition but like all of that it can easily be converted. I would have to go back into my facebook and check. It won't be official product, but Krash's...

    D&D 5E (2014) Ed Greenwood's Border Kingdoms Now Available (& Official!)

This is excellent. The most qualified writer developing for the Forgotten Realms. Can't wait for George Krashnos supplement to come out as well.

TSR At TSR: Walking Around The Building

And I am Happily Playing the game Zeb Cook is in charge of now... Elder Scrolls Online. Richard Baker, Zeb Cook, I think even Bill Slavicek. I love playing the games that old TSR Folk are making great now. I remember reading Dave Cook's 'resignation' letter in Dragon. How he was leaving for...

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Well I mean you can edit up anything to serve your purpose. But you keep responding to me so you can't be bothered by thread clutter that much.

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Not so irrelevant if a conversation evolved around it. I didn't even start it. If anything this meta conversation of FR somehow clogging this thread which I disagree with, is more clutter than the FR posts. Stop complaining, less clutter. Most of my comments have been in RESPONSE to others...

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Every one of these threads has the potential to be read by a designer at WOTC. My intention is not to hijack threads. Its to make my consumer opinion known. It worked with getting them to accelerate D&D NExt. So if you don't like it, skip commenting and move on by, I don't make an excuse, I...

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

If a topic changes course, then there is probably a reason for that. There is no moral failing in conversation flow.

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Two things: Font and Word count. The Scag has Luskan on 93-98. BUT, and this is big, the 3rd edition campaign setting was made with the fact that expansion guides were being made. Luskan had expansions in the Silver Marches, Lords of Darkness, Powers of Faerun. The whole idea was there...

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Pretty Ridiculous there. Since you don't have to play at your table with them. Makes no sense that you would hate a setting because it has fans that love it. Relax a bit. If you really wanted to play it you would, it has nothing to do with people. If you don't want to play it, then don't...

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Here are 2 examples of a great Campaign Guide: 3rd edition Forgotten Realms, Pathfinder Golarion. Alternity Star Drive. That is the level I am indicating.

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

If it was alive and well, the authors in charge of it wouldn't have tried to fix it. I mean they literally admitted they messed up the realms. So did the lead designer on the Realms for 4e, Richard Baker. Said that was WOTC's biggest mistake. So I would say the evidence points to it was...
