RAI: Pinning a Dragon's Mouth Shut

Actually, there is no martial arts that teaches you to control something that has 1000X your mass. And no, nothing in the grapple rules allows you to clamp the mouth shut of a huge dragon... I'd let players try it though. Just for the entertainment (and taste) value. ;)

    Brainstorm 3.x Multiclassing

If you throw out rules that were designed to maintain balance THEN complain about imbalance created by doing so, that isn't stupid?

    Ranger Wearing Med. Mithral Armor?

Actually, not. Any rule in a splat book that conflicts with a rule in a Core rule book is decided in favor of the Core rule book.

    Ranger Wearing Med. Mithral Armor?

Correct. Proficiency has to do with type not weight. Full plate could weigh almost nothing but you still have to train how to fight wearing it...

    Brainstorm 3.x Multiclassing

A Cleric10/Wiz10 will wipe the floor with a Rogue 20.

    Brainstorm 3.x Multiclassing

So, you think a Cleric/Wiz is weaker than a fighter?, a Rogue?, a Ranger?

    Trapfinding is an Anti-Ability

I allow anyone to search for a trap. However, that doesn't allow you to disarm or bypass it...

RAI: Pinning a Dragon's Mouth Shut

No, we're talking about having the strength and mass to stop something from moving that is larger than your body.

    Brainstorm 3.x Multiclassing

Casters are too powerful compared to other classes already. No problem to fix. EX penalties already exist to punish this behavior. The differences are too small to bother with unless the player is an obsessive min//maxer How many classes are involved in this? If the player wants large XP...

RAI: Pinning a Dragon's Mouth Shut

Umm, what? I allow a man to possibly pick up a normal sized alligator. I don't allow the guy to pick up a huge dragon. Get it?

    Learning a language

I have it take the amount of time of going from one level to the next. Of course, they have to have access to someone who speaks & writes the language in question for at least 50% of the time...

    Greedy Players? No Roleplaying?

What do they do when they have to interact with NPCs in order to solve a mystery?

    Multiple characters lifting heavy objects?

Lifting is simple. How much does it weigh? How many characters can fully grip it at once? Total their lifting capacities. Done. No rolls really needed.

RAI: Pinning a Dragon's Mouth Shut

Right. If the relative size between the man & dragon were similar as between the aforementioned man vs. alligators, sure. Otherwise, no way.

    AoO against an unknown threat?

It is called attack of opportunity. If you don't know about it, you don't have an opportunity.

    Fighting with reach weapons

You are merely running into rules that reflect reality. Pole Arms weren't designed to be used by a single soldier. They are to be used en mass.

    Help me creating a relic

My bad, I guess I haven't read that splat book. Nothing in core about it.

    Help me creating a relic

Relics & artifacts aren't meant to be balanced. Are you just trying to create a high level magic item?

    Killing Deities

No. In the world I play in the pantheon is Greek so, no go.

Does caster know the duration of her Time Stop?

No, it's a rolled variable the caster finds out about like all others. When it manifests. Not like it would do much good to know. Sundials aren't that accurate, and wearable models hadn't been invented yet...
