The Rerisen Tower(DM: Iron Sky, Judge: ScorpiusRisk)

Yes, lets continue on. If there are more of these undead about, the milita may need all the help they can get. Fredrock cleans off his hammer and armor, then begins to help repair the bridge. Perception (1d20+4=17) Healing surge gets me to full. Fredrock Hammersmith - Male Dwarf...

    Can a Slowed Creature Shift?

There is a difference between something saying your speed becomes Speed + 4 and something saying you move your speed + 4 Heavy Armor penalty to movement modifies your speed..so your speed in heavy armor becomes Speed - 1. However, if you are slowed, your Heavy armor does not affect your speed...

May update: "The Fly Action" on page 10 of that update: begins with: Page 47: The following Text replaces "The Fly Action" section... and goes on to completely re-write the fly section. Minimum speed is not mentioned at all. (July update fixed one bullet point they missed somewhere) Clumbsy...

    Can a Slowed Creature Shift?

many monsters have powers that say something like "Shift X squares and make an attack (or attacks)" Which would not be affected by slow (IMO, most should be shift their speed, but it's not in most cases).

Multi-attack actions = one attack or three?

For what it is worth. I've always played that one attack line is one attack..so the Hydra has to just target the defender with one head, and the Beholder is not unduly punished because it has to target separate enemies with it's eye rays. Been playing it this way since before 4E came out (Keep...

The Rerisen Tower(DM: Iron Sky, Judge: ScorpiusRisk)

Perhaps soon the dead will stay dead, but Fredrock seems a bit preoccupied with this grim business and swings wildly once again. note that swarm 3 has been marked by me for the encounter (or until I use my Battlemind Demand again..just noticed it isn't listed in the Combatants block. Also...

    Poison Immunity

Bring this one back again...at least it isn't too old: So, how does poison immunity of most undead not totally screw over PC's that concentrate on doing Poison damage? Also, why is the 2nd part of the immunity rule " creature that is immune to charm, fear, illusion, poison, or sleep is not...

    Question About Reach

slight correction: invisible and hidden before you teleported... Unless you make the stealth check, the enemy knows where you are even if you are invisible.

    close blast

Technically, the origin square is a square in your space. the X by X area has to be adjacent to the origin square (but doesn't include it).

Using an AP is a free action. It grants you not an attack, but a standard action. You use that standard action to attack with, not the free action, so it isn't affected by the free action change. the update is talking about things that say something along the lines of "makes a basic attack...

The Rerisen Tower(DM: Iron Sky, Judge: ScorpiusRisk)

Fredrock glares at the Hulk as it stands back up, Argh, won't you just stay dead! I'll get back to you in a moment, just let me swat some of these foul birds 1st. The Hulk standing distracts Fredrock, and his hammer swings widly, missing the swarm. Fredock then shifts next to the Hulk...

Blurred step fixed (now a free action that can only be done once a turn, but can be done after an enemy shifts so you can shift to the square they left).

The Rerisen Tower(DM: Iron Sky, Judge: ScorpiusRisk)

Fredrock silently crushes the last hulk, then shifts back from the bridge, but staying close to the Raven swarm. I see only 4 damage to Fredrock so far (well, 5 after the end of this turn, as I'm in the Raven aura with DR4)..I might have missed 5 points somewhere, but can't find it Also, it's...

Longest Board Game You Ever Played

Advanced Civilization regularly lasts for 8-12 hours (haven't played in years tho) Seen other spend all semester playing World-in-flames (not me personally). Titan can go on forever for the last two players involved.. Diplomacy 6-10 hours World of Warcraft, the board game, took us 14 hours...

D&D 4E How have PCs died in your 4e games?

Uh, you spend a healing surge and get the HP back..starting from 0. So if your healing surge value is 6, and you are at -6 hp when you roll a 20 for your death saving throw, you would now be at 6 HP, conscious and not dying anymore.

The Rerisen Tower(DM: Iron Sky, Judge: ScorpiusRisk)

I understand that combat doesn't flow quite like a home game in Pbp. But how do we account for others actions during our turn? I have been checking everyone that went before me to take into account their actions, but not everyone seems to do that.. For example, the Hulk that was in J9 is down...
