Not any longer. Ipods/MP3 players are killing morning radio a little at a time. In the past year, 3 local stations have dumped almost all of the on-air talent and are playing music (and commercials) all the time. I feel a little sorry for the DJ's, but I would rather hear music over Howard Stern.

With 2E we used the normal rules for character creation and and used the monster as they were writtnen. Beyond that we pretty much winged it.

I certainly like the idea, and I think that was the goal in 3E. A goal that I think was kind of forgotten until, oh about 2 years ago.

I have 3 month old twins thus my money for D&D has shrunk immensely. So if they want my money, they are going to have to work a lot harder for it for the next few years.

I'm running Rappan Athuk Reloaded, modifying some rules to make combat faster and letting the players go out on a bang with some modified gestalt rules. Then we play until 4E is out, or we have so many TPK's we'd rather do something else.

It was the first book of 3E I didn't bother buying. Not even close to my style of play.

All 3. But then again, we tend to invite people into our group who are of the "professional" character class. Not exclusively, but that seems to be the usual pattern.
