    Power Attack for Ranged Weapons

I noted it. I also noted that it was a 1 for 2 exchange in attack loss to damage gain. Make it a 2 for 1 and it would be balanced, maybe. In other words treat it like a short sword and not a greatsword.

    Flying Wyvern Skeleton

From the SRD Special Attacks: A skeleton retains none of the base creature’s special attacks.

    Power Attack for Ranged Weapons

That's just way too powerful for a ranged attack. You'll find that your combats are over before they began. In the hands of orcs and other classed enemies, you'll find that the PC's wizard is dead within moments. If you need a bow to do more damage, go with the composite bow strength bonuses...

    Flying Wyvern Skeleton

Just give the thing the ability to fly, but no other options like hover or flyby attack. It's mindless, so it's not like it's going to exploit any tactics beyond drop onto nearest victim and slash away. All the flying does is get it into combat a little quicker. Now if you add a rider to...

    Gestalt Characters

Be careful with the multiclassing and prestige classes. Use the fractional progression in the US if you allow multiclassing. Do not allow class combing prestige classes (mystic theurge and the like). After level 3, if you allow the party time to buff up before combat, they can take on some...

The Worst and/or Best Player You've Ever Known

Best: No one single person. I've played with a large variety of people, but no one person has dominated my mind as the one singular best player amongst them all. Worst: Tommy a.k.a. Nergle or Nergul or whatever... The guy was over 400 pounds, rarely bathed. If he did bathe, he wore unwashed...

    Gestalt Characters

I've played in one. My best estimation is that you take increase the group's power by 1 per 3 levels to get a rough idea of their power level.

    Replacement PCs: what level?

If the PC died from plain stupidity or just how the dice fall, they come in at level-1. If they die while heroically saving others, or the DM goofs, their new PC is their old level.

World's Largest Dungeon in actual play [Spoilers!]

Aaron in my group likes to sing the "Giant creature in a tiny room" song whenever something like that comes up. In region N, the large mohrgs have been stuck for who knows how long in a 10'x10' room. Kind of funny to me as it reminds me of the old 1E random dungeon generator where you could...

Magic Item Compendium: The Diablo II gems have made their way to D&D!

Well kind of. There were 4 of them, in leather(ish) tomes for 2E.

    BattleStar Galactica:Season 3.5--2/11/07--Arc 13

This was another one of those "eh" episodes. Maybe I've just set the bar too high since the Exoduse episodes...

Magic Item Compendium: The Diablo II gems have made their way to D&D!

So long as it stays optional, then I see no issue with gems. However, every time I read something about this book, the less I want to own it.

Is RAISE DEAD (etc.) too readily available in most D&D campaigns?

Yes, but for this campaign, I want it that way.

    "Hail, Dungeon Master"

    EnWorld & Adobe

I do not have IE7, so that's not the issue.

    EnWorld & Adobe

The Adobe thing happens to me too. I said something about it a few months ago but no one had any clue what the cause was. I've found no solution for it.

    Can Trolls eat themselves?

Thanks! Apparently I'm more creative shortly after having woken up.

    Can Trolls eat themselves?

They can eat themselves, but it is considered taboo as many trolls used to indulge during rough times but it ended up giving them trolline spongiform encephalitis, also known as mad troll disease. :p

How Often Does Your Group Cast Stoneskin?

In 2E, all the freaking time. In 3E never.
