Take out the bit that even mentions legal actions and try it. IE if you haven't paid for this I would appreciate it if you sent a little money my way so I can continue producing these pdfs.
But wouldn't a black hole golem have a terribly horrible AC due to it drawing all missile fire towards it?
So anyways, I've got this money laid out for the next book. When can I fork it over?
Too true Phil. I actually buy pdfs, and have bundles that I've paid for, but I just recently went through my "downloads dir" and cleaned out a couple of gigs of sample files.
Seriously though I know it is unpopular to hear this when you are publishing books and finding people using them...
Yes I am sure it is underpowered. Not unplayable but still underpowered. The only things that keep it viable are the HD and the flight. Great flavour though. IMC I changed it to simply give a couple of caster levels instead of bonus spells.
My point wasn't about legalities. Monte Cook is a professional, so I'm sure he tries to stay legal. My point was that Malhavoc press and other big names don't ask if something is inappropriate, they find out if it valuable, and if so do what it takes to use it.
This can be as little as running...
First off, the core DD is underpowered. I've done the math and it is basically 2 or so levels behind by 10th. That said, it has coolness. The thing to do with those stats is to throw an 18 into str and con, and the 15 into cha for the sorceror/bard level. Dex doesn't need to be high, because...
I'm really amused that someone would refer to calling a product Arcana Expanded as being inappropriate, when the original Arcana Unearthed was deliberately playing off a previous books title. A title which has been reused again for the current edition.
In short, the "bigger" publishers would...
waitasecond In a situation where a charge is from a diagonal and you take directly towards as meaning moving in a straight line to the center of the creature there are angles at which you cannot charge.

I've seen a character with 18, 17, 17, 16, 13, 12 recently. Doesn't bother me, but then again I always check abilities to make sure players are in line with each other. If they want high scores, that's fine, but make sure the others do as well.
Ditto, good spell, for those times when the wizard has no blank slots and realizes that the circumstances of the day are going to be drastically different than imagined.
Also given one 4th level free slot, this spell could be prepared and cast in order to clear all the rest of the spells. 4th...
Well if you really love Eberron you might want to keep buying that stuff. Having said that, I am guessing that while you would enjoy a different style game, no one will try them. Perhaps in this situation what you need is a book your group doesn't have access to but will allow you to throw in...
Greatswords do still take two hands? That second hand is certainly worth a point or so of damage. I fear your plan will come to one conclusion, sword and board/twf become the ultimate weapons. There will never be a reason to ever use a two handed weapon.
Water elemental summoning should increase the cost.
For instance leave it running somewhere already wet inside your enemy's base, and just watch the daily madness.
