What should I spend my gaming dollars on?

Bront

What should I purchase as my next gaming book?

Stormwrack? I love seafaring, and could use it in at least one game I'm in.

Five Nations? I love Eberron, and am running 2 games, and in several others.

Complete Series? I have access to them, but don't own them. Generaly found them usefull though.

Races of Series? As the Complete series, but I own Eberron. Not as thrilled with them.

D20 Appocolyps? I love that style of game, but have had trouble getting one run.

Iron Heroes? I enjoyed reading AU, but can't get anyone to play it.

Arcana Evolved? I own AU, is it worth the upgrade given I can't get people to play it?

Other? Is there something more worth while?

I'll have money to spend on game stuff soon, so help me spend it please. I want thoughts and oppinions. Generaly, I prefer WotC stuff to 3rd party as I've found it to be more usefull and more accepted in most games, particularly due to the wide availability of it.

Well, from your description I'd take it you'd get the most mileage out of Five Nations, because you love Eberron and run 2 games with it. This sounds like a reasonable choice.

Iron Heroes is a very interesting choice, but if you have already trouble with interesting anyone for trying out Arcana Unearthed, Iron Heroes will probably meet the same fate. Arcana Evolved is a very nice book, but as it's mostly a compilation of older stuff, you don't really need it, even more so as you were not able to get any use out of AU. If you just want to update AU, you can use the old errata and the document with all the recent updates and errata for free :).

Well if you really love Eberron you might want to keep buying that stuff. Having said that, I am guessing that while you would enjoy a different style game, no one will try them. Perhaps in this situation what you need is a book your group doesn't have access to but will allow you to throw in some ideas and inspirations. This could be anything out there really. Even a product like Arms & Armor 3.5 could do this.
Better though would be to think about alternate rule books like Unearthed Arcana. I assuming you folks already have that one, but I know that a couple of the 3rd party publishers have also done books in that style.

Oh, well, if you love Eberron, then my suggestion won't help much. I've been looking at the Iron Kingdoms books from Privateer Press and believe they're pretty cool. I'm not a DM atm, but when I do DM, I will be using the Iron Kingdoms.

Also, some of the books coming out in the future by WOTC look pretty cool. Might be worth saving your money for those.

but Oathbound stuff, domains of the forge, and plains of penance... plains of penance art oooooh yeah!

Stormwrack, Eberron stuff and the like

my suggestions are as such:
Unearthed Arcana, Stormwrack, Five Nations (cause you play Eberron), Races of Eberron, and anything else Eberrony and Cheese.

I went with the Complete Series books. If you have found them somewhat useful in the past, with them on your gaming shelf I bet you find even more use for them. There are plenty of useful options in there and additional character classes to add some spice to a game when you need it.

Why not one Complete, One Races, an Eberron, Stormwrack, and something written by Monty for a well rounded library. Another Other vote doubley backed up

Thanks for some of the input (keep it coming).

I already own Races of Eberron, so I'm set there. Unearthed Arcana I have access too (and lots of it is out on the web, since it's all OGL content), and I do own Arcana Unearthed.

I actualy have the base Oathbound book as well, and one of the other GMs was looking it over for possable use at some point.

I likely will be buying more than one book, but I'm looking at what I might grab at Gen Con if I can find a good price.

Please, feel free to tell me what you like as well. I would have shunned Eberron if someone hadn't thrust the book in my face once, so it pays to keep an open mind. :)
