I nearly forgot, Geomancer (CA? CD?) could make quite a mean arcane fighter. Get a very wide range of abilities. The funny class drift stuff, turning attempts, casting in full armour (after a while) and a clutch of clerical magic to back it up?

I think theres a metamagic feat called something like Admixture - doubles the damage of a spell, by adding a 2nd element to it... however, think it has a fairly hefty adjustment on it. Might try my hand at writing this spell myself... House rules time! :)

That's a very good point. They really suck at lower levels. In fact, IMO it's not going to be very much fun until the teen levels! Oops. :)
