It's been in the campaign I'm in twice now... Although not in it's normal form.
First time in the form of a choas gate. We had to jump through it as a show of bravery to a Slaadi king. Basically it made you take one draw from the deck. The cleric lost all magical goods. My sorceror lost everything they owned. The highest level character gained another level. And the rest pretty neutral. Pretty bad stuff, but it worked itself out in the end.
Next time it turned up was as the property of a hag in a sideshow booth in a demonic fair... A regenerating deck that didn't dissappear - although it could only be used once by any individual. The entire party wanted nothing to do with it. Except the paladin. Who decided that 13 draws was a good idea!!!???
He ended up getting totally hosed - permenant -4 int, -3 to all saves, killed death twice and lost everything he owned. On the upside, he got a crappy sword, a couple of escapes (used to avoid inprisonment and a 3rd death), some free divinations and the services of a 4th level fighter. Wooo.
The character died a week later and refused ressurection. :/
I hate those decks and want nothing to do with them! Unless I'm bored of my character...
