Help Twinking Out a 12th Level Monk

I'm surprised no one has mentioned picking up one lvl of sorc for enlarge, etc. my briefly lived sorc1/monkX opened up every fight with an enlarge. of course he was already large so went to huge, but it does come in handy :D

    Jump while withdrawing?

Sure you can. They're called 'staffs'. :D And one more vote in the hat of "jump whenever you're moving".

    Best Anti-Dragon Tactics

PC's: "Hey mr dragon, dont eat us, here's 4,000gp and a cool statue, we'll be by next month with more, btw thanks again for not eating us. and a cow, we'll bring a cow next time too." Dragon: "k thx hurry up before i eat you" <repeat 3-4 times> PC's: "Hey mr dragon we can't give you any money...

don't insult the purpose of a door by locking it

I think he meant doors in the sense that they let you into places. ie, if its locked you cant get in, so why have the door instead of a wall ? Maybe its a half empty / half full kind of thing.

don't insult the purpose of a door by locking it

I'm just wondering, what happened that made it so horrible for you?

don't insult the purpose of a door by locking it

I played a kender wizard in a short-lived dragonlance game, it was one of the most fun characters i've ever played. It takes a DM willing to let you be silly and fun (for instance, party is beginning a fight with a minotaur, DM: 'Hey, that minotaur has a nice big shiny ring in his nose' , Me...

    Sudden Stalagmite

Not too ludicrous, it all depends on how large the spike is. if its only 1-2 inches in diameter, then the impaling would make sense for the amount of damage done.

    Sudden Stalagmite

I didnt notice that before :( I would now agree that it should work on any solid floor/ground-like surface. Incidentally, what would the weight of such a cone be...hmmm

    Sudden Stalagmite

The 2nd floor of a building is not "the ground", you were right on this one I think, but kudos to the player for trying. Alternatively you could have simply said "ok, you hear a *bang!* at the base of the targets feet, like the sound of stone hitting an iron floor."

    Void Incarnate

It certainly seems to read that you could go through an entire combat and not have anyone attack you unless you attack them, and then only for the next round would they care about you. Something like, if you were attacking a group of gnolls and there was a small girl with them, you'd ignore her...

Need creative ideas for 15 Barbarian types

If there's no escape, how did the PC's get there in the first place? cant they just leave the way they came in ? Aside from that, with 15 enemies, probably wouldnt want them more than, one or two levels of barbarian each? maybe the leader has 4 or 5...

Can you suffocate while burrowing ?

That seems to make sense. Not worried about it, was just wondering if anyone had any rules to quote one way or the other. Only had it come up once in a (basically) once shot game with a mineral warrior templated pc, and DM had to kind of make up soemthing on the spot on how to handle burrowing...

Can you suffocate while burrowing ?

I do not understand what you mean

Can you suffocate while burrowing ?

title says it all(mostly). If you burrow say, 30 ft into dirt and stay there for an hour, do you suffocate?

Ring of sustenance in something non-ring like ?

I'm a player, lvl 5 cleric, and thus trying to use create wonderous item as much as I can to save $$ and get more gear. I'm probably going to email my DM today and run the idea by him for either an amulet or scarab that basically does the same thing as ring of sustenance and see what he says...

Ring of sustenance in something non-ring like ?

more uncustomary than a ring, or do rings not have that problem?

Ring of sustenance in something non-ring like ?

If I wanted to create a wonderous item that did the same thing as ring of sustenance but in say, a vest or helmet or necklace or whatever else instead of a ring, would the pricing be in the same ? (i guess thats, would that be a reasonable thing to do or are ring prices special ?)
