They're often called Tressym, and date back to 2e, IIRC. I'd rather see all the old favourites presented first; a lot of new entries are either redundant (because D&D has presented so many damn critters over the years there's a reasonable chance something has already been done) or not...

I'll happily take 95% agreement any day of the week for a list like this. ;) I tried to really hit the main missing entries, any holes I saw, and also present the quintessential "second tier" critters.
