Again, they need to copy Paizo. Big APs for people who like those, and smaller modules for other people. Ideally that hop around some interesting locations. IT looks like 3rd party may have you covered but will the quality be up to the official stuff?? and we still don't know about OGL anyway...

i'd like the hunter to be able to switch powers. maybe not at will, but per rest maybe. it would be annoying to know you are facing a horde and have a giant killer power and vice versa... not op, but more versatile.

i think this is better. the CR restriction is silly. it should go up at certain levels. to 1 or 2... i don't think a level 15 PC with a CR 2 animal is too op is it? i would also house rule if the animal is attacked it defends itself unless told NOT to by an action.

trying to convert a PF magus to 5e. level 3 so can go Fighter/EK or multiclass wizard fighter. Is there a class or feat that lets you deliver touch spells via weapon like the magus? i can't find one thanks

thats what i'm planning. it's as much a kitchen sink setting as FR but most of the seperate areas have been detailed in their own books, which is not the case for FR recently. i'm not really than keen on an overview setting book. I have 2e FR adventrues and FR CS and the 4e CS book. another...

i loved spellfire. wonder if i still have my old cards?? a LCG would be great, boosters are hard to make balanced decks from if you only play with friends... As for the poll - i went the pathfinder option. Throw in setting and adventures but only 2 or 3 big rule books please

i was making the comparison to a summoning spell. sure its not a great comparison, but why do summoned creatures require no actions, but a companion does. that's what i was trying to point out. and taking animal companion reduces your dpr until possibly level 11...when the animal gets to...

sounds like next playtest rather than 5E. the colossus slayer bonus is quite nice, but then you can't have the companion...or some other nice bonuses...

if that was the only issue then summoned creatures should need commanding. At level 5 we can use conjure animals to get 8 1/4 CR animals (same as a companion). They can all attack for free, admittedly without the prof bonuses. Now this spell can also be cast by rangers, so how come summoned...
