I've ehard of this, but have never seen a design. I don't understand how it could work with a low BAB when compared to a fighter.

Wow. I never thought you'd be using that Rapier so rarely. My advise would be just to make sure you're carrying a sword around, or at least something better than a dagger (unless you've got Ranger levels, and use TWF -- that's kewl). I wouldn't be wasting any feats on a Melee weapon though...

I use Power Attack all the time, but only with my loaded dice. ;) j/k There's a time and a place for everything.

Even if it were a feat to reduce the penalty, it'd be nice.

May I suggest a Squirrel or Fox Familiar. A +2 Reflex save could possibly be more useful than an extra HP/Level, but the real boost is that Foxes and Squirrels can just do more than a Toad ever could.

Re: Humanity & power attack I've never had a character reach epic levels, so I don't really worry about it. If I'm playing a Half Orc, with Barbarian as his favored class, it's basically the same as playing a human for Multi-Class purposes. Perhaps I'm talking too many classes in my above...

I like to add my own personality to characters that I play, and I also like to have a character that always has a very good chance at being useful to the party most of the time. This is why I like the Bard class a lot. Personally, I can't sing, play an instrument, or do much of anything artsy...

I'm going to put aside my shame, and say that I actually kinda liked the D&D movie. It wasn't great, but it was ok. Anyway, since the directors commentary has already been brought up, I wonder if they'll actually make a sequel, as they say they will in the commentary.

The only skill the ranger needs to max out is Wilderness Lore. It's very rare to find a single classed Ranger who isn't maxed out in this skill. Maybe they could just go up to 5 Skillpoints/level for rangers. Why do skill points have to be an even number? I think a d8 HD would be appropriate...

I have an elven fighter made with the default point system. I put his 10 into Con, and it drops to 8. He's going the archer route, so 1 less HP/level isn't too big a deal for somebody who doesn't enter melee combat (if he can help it).
