New Warhammer Old World TTRPG Announced

I did, indeed, thanks for clarifying.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I legitimately shiver cringe* at the thought of what new works of "art" will come out when Wonder Woman enters the public domain. * Edited, because I just realized that the original wording could be interpreted the wrong way.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Those darn, insufferable pearl cluthers and their clam pizzas! In case someone calls me out about pearls and clams, yes, clams can make pearls, but also:

D&D 5E (2014) How do you do Bastions?

I finally read over the Bastian rules. The only way I can see folks coming to this conclusion is that it doesn't specifically state that the DM can do this, so, therefore, I guess they interpret this to me the DM can't? I think it may come from the event list. The second event (on a roll of...

So Much Art From the 2025 Monster Manual

I still like that succubi were the female sexual-sin demons and incubi were the male counterparts, as they are in medieval folklore. The new 2024 MM take may grow on me. I like the concept, just can't get over the names being the same. This old grognard is going to have trouble not confusing...

New Warhammer Old World TTRPG Announced

That's interesting. I played a learn-to-play of that system at Gamehole Con as well. Like Age of Sigmar, it is a much more streamlined system than WFRP4e. They both use a d6 dice pool, rather than the d100 sytem of WFRP. They also do away with all of the table lookups that gives WFRP much of...

New Warhammer Old World TTRPG Announced

That's interesting. As a DM, I'm not sure I would want to do the work of restating the NPCs and creatures, but I'm not familiar with Dragonbane, so perhaps that system makes it easy to do so. Another tip for @Edifice Head is using the Foundry game system for WFRP4e, which makes a lot of the...

New Warhammer Old World TTRPG Announced

No. I have to admit that I was a bit put off about the new game as I've already invested so much time and money into WFRP4e. I will say, however, that I really enjoyed a play-to-learn session of Age of Sigmar at Gamehole Con last year. Could be fun to recreate dead characters in that system and...

New Warhammer Old World TTRPG Announced

I'm running The Enemy Within (TEW) campaign now. Just finished the first book with the party leaving Bogenhafen the next session and moving into the second book. Even the first book is a heavy lift for the GM. It seems every book gets more complex. More than that, it is a significant commitment...

Here Are 2025's Most Anticipated TTRPGs... As Voted By You!

I checked StartPlaying as I've used that site a number of times. Currently the only LitM games are campaigns, which I can't commit to. I'll check back in March after the PDF is released and see if there are any one shots for it. I also checked the Roll20 find a game site, but no LitM games...

D&D General what would a standard human pantheon look like?

Like it. Except "Enzo" makes me think of the golden retriever in The Art of Racing in the Rain. This is also what my sons decided to name our golden retriever (sigh). So I'm might keep Enzo in the pantheon but it would be "Enzo, the Very Good Boy."

D&D General what would a standard human pantheon look like?

Doesn't seem to have worked out that way IRL, though I would be very interested in reading research showing this to be the case.
