    Well the defender does need to do his job, alot, so it is his duty (if you really wanna roleplay the defender that way) to defend his party members.. But you are right, even dumb creatures wont go all to one person.. Normally if you have 4 to 5 enemies, 2 or 3 should stick to the defender...

    I would rather say that if an defender is using up all his surges, his allies arent doing there best.. Why? If they did more damage, tactics, the fighter would get hit less and needed less rest.. So party members, support the defender and all shall go well..

    So lets say i have an power i use with my longsword (1d8), 18 str (+4) and some feat that gives me +2 damage... [W] = 1d8 +2 [W]+Str = 1d8 +6 2[W] = 2d8 +2 2[W]+str = 2d8 +6 And if the longsword becomes an +4 [W] = 1d8 +4 [W]+Str = 1d8 +10 2[W] = 2d8 +4 2[W]+str = 2d8 +10 Correct?

    Polearm gamble gives you an extra OA option when you shift out of an threatend square.. Shift doesnt provoke OA from leaving the square, Polearm gamble provokes OA from entering an new threatend square and shift only negates OA when leaving.... What's the big buzz?

    I dont think large creatures are screwed cause if they move, they still move theire normal movement... If an 3x3 creature moves 3 squares he doesnt move 1 square left or right.. no.. he moves 3 squares to the right or left.. thus leaving 9 squares.. but it doesnt count 9 as his movement..

    But the sustain damage is still damage from the first attack, you dont have to make an attack roll again when you sustain.. I would rule, add 1d6 to all damage, even when sustaining.. Mind that this an daily power and someone who is getting hit by this will likely come to the one who casted it..

    An melee basic attack also includes with your hands or feet... And you threaten every 5ft square around you, always.. So if i am holding an Longsword, Bastard sword and someone provokes, i can kick them if i want, because that is an basic melee attack..
