Thanks, apparently that was the problem. I don't know why the Adobe site told me that I had the most recent version, but I deleted the application and went to the Adobe site and my old version was indeed old. It only came up with this sheet, but to be honest I have been using another PDF...

Ah, there's the rub. When I click on the field, colors change, but no window opens. I am using the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader, though I get a dialog whenever I load the pdf that I should upgrade to the latest version. I did re-download the latest version, but still get the dialog.

Well, unless you get attacked twice or more in the same round, then not so much, as the first strike uses your reaction. I've had the first strike cause minimal damage that used my reaction and then got hit again with a crit.

In the initial spells for both classes, the instructions state that two of those spells must come from enchantment and illusion schools (AT) or abjuration and evocation (EK). Does this mean the third spell can come from any Wizard spell of any school?

Regarding the OP: A Rogue is usually a support character in my view. At least until my newest which is a SCAG Swashbuckler. Assassins Thieves and Arcane Tricksters usually have the criminal background, so they would not have risked the damage unless there was a really compelling reason to do so...

I'm building an Elf Swashbuckler (from SCAG) and want a background that also includes the Perception skill. Would they stack, giving me what is basically a 3rd Expertise choice at 1st Level, or if I want that background do I just lose a skill spot?
