I'm not sure if i took it right but i always saw exalted as white wolf's take on D&D. they just took thier system threw in over the top powers and thier own touch of paranoia. personally i love the game, unfortunately my players never really seemed to get into the spirit of it.

by the same reasoning of dwarves getting a free proficiency with the dwarven war axe wouldn't half-orcs get a free proficiency with the orc double axe? after arguing with my half orc barbarian player i decided if they really wanted the weapon they'd have to take a feat for it.

Yes the scribe scroll feat is an item creation feat, it doesn't much matter how you came by the feat you've still got it for the PrC. as for the ranger's virtual twf, as long as he never puts on heavy armor he'd gain the benefits for whatever advanced feats he took.
