3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Definitely. And it really feels advanced in the sense of "moved forward" at least as much as it does in the sense of "high-skill."

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Yeah, I'm kinda loath to change the title but I may update the product page with a bit more description.

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Yeah, there's definitely more in A5E than could have ever been wedged into something that limited, and I think it's better for it.

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Sounds like something for the community to try playtesting, maybe? Also, if I may be so bold: A5E is a mature enough system where an "Unearthed Arcana" style product with a bunch of variant rules might be something the community enjoyed; again harkening back to ye olde days of 3e, I sure had...

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Also, Morrus: you're keeping notes of these house rules for the day when Level Up gets a second edition, right? ;) Because I can totally get on board with the idea of feats at first level. I enjoyed that about 3e/3.5e/PF1e.

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Sure - that makes sense. So this leaves me as a third-party creator with a bit of a problem: by system convention, both the "multiclass helper" and "transform yourself" feat chains use a common name. I don't want to sow additional confusion, but some already exists here; as you said, the...

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Okay, fair enough - since I have you here, then, what are the more "transformational" synergy feats like the vampire, revenant, and werewolf ones synergizing with? And why do they use the same name as the "multiclass helper" chains? (Also, I like "prestige feats" better too, for the record.)

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

Hey folks, I appreciate the feedback, and if you find some kind of issue with the actual content that merits some errata, I'll certainly look at it, but the title is set. The feats synergize with each other and the base class, and "synergy feats" is basically the A5E term for "feat chain."

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

I suppose you could consider these to by synergizing with an advanced training program or a streak of single-mindedness, then. ;) All kidding and pedantry aside: if you're familiar with the structure of how I do multiclass synergy feat chains, these will look very familiar.

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

They make the class more like itself, basically. What that looks like varies by class. The fighter gets rare weapon proficiencies and then access to something new called exotic weapons that are basically intended to represent the kind of unique signature weapons you see from warriors in media...

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

At this point? Probably not. The feats do follow the synergy feat chain format, too; and I'm also not sure what the vampire and werewolf feats are synergizing with, either. Sometimes you just have to accept that the terminology is weird with game mechanics.

3PP Release UPCOMING: The Forgotten Vault: Unlocked

As many of you who have purchased it (thank you all!) know, the first large-ish release that PMG ever did was Spells from the Forgotten Vault. We did it back before I had a handle on what's necessary to do a product for print with DTRPG, and one of the most frequent requests I've gotten since...

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

The class is synergizing with the feats, I guess? I realize there's a little bit of linguistic oddness there. Titles are hard sometimes.

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

If this does well enough, I will probably tackle all of the AG classes in time.

3PP Release New release: Single-Class Synergy, Volume 1: The Core Four

I'm still working on the massive upcoming Forgotten Vault product, but I recently thought it would be fun to try to figure out what single-class synergy feats look like, and I did a batch for the "core four" of cleric, fighter, rogue, and wizard. Let me know if you like these! I thought this was...

3PP Release AVAILABLE NOW: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 2

I do plan to do a third volume, yes. And likely a fourth. I'm not sure how much (if any) beyond four I'll go, though; my original intent was to cover every 2-class combination in the system, including first- and third- party classes. That's rapidly becoming completely untenable, though. (Read on...

3PP Release AVAILABLE NOW: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 2

Some more good news: the proof showed up faster than I expected it to; it was waiting for me when I got home from work today. EDIT: And it looks good! Print version is now available if you want it!

    Level Up (A5E) Yuan ti

Sure, and I definitely am in favor of people buying both my own stuff and Rachel's. I just want to make sure people buying the Sinuous know what they're getting. :)

3PP Release New 3PP release: Sinuous Sentinels!

That's one of those "it's definitely possible, but I wouldn't want you to count on it" things; I don't think Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 3 will be even getting started on until sometime in 2026 at the earliest; I'm currently working on the next Forgotten Vault project, which should be an even...
