AFAIK a warlock can take metamagic feats since they don't actually have any requirements. He just can't use them on invocations.

It also has full BAB and advances bardic knowledge. However it's got some rather harsh requirements so in the long run it's not too broken.

Holy liberator is a PRC that grants Divine grace. Requires CG to join, not sure if you have to stay that though, it's in Defends of the Faith. You could also ask about the paladin as a PRC varient in Unearthed Arcana.
