I've always been a TWF fan. I kind of like the risk of 'yeah you can hit me easier, but i can do that much more to you' concept. It's like Russian Roulette... kinda. Take alot.. give alot.. see who goes down first

Oh, no our DM doesn't force a split of eq like that. He would just be like "well, it's up to your party if they want to let you borrow some junk until you get back to town". How would you go about massively killing a "real life" friend repetitively without insulting him and risk corrupting...
