D&D 5E (2014) Mike Mearls interview - states that they may be getting off of the 2 AP/year train.

I do know what's going on. I've been following the thread since I started it. Frankly, you make yourself impossible to ignore because you come into every industry thread and throw a tantrum demanding that your opinions are facts, you horrible troll. You make this forum worse for everyone...

This has no relation to the question Mistwell asked. You should try and actually read people's posts instead of reading one or two lines and then saying what you want to say. Is the function you'll be activating "Cancel Account"? I think that would be rather pleasant.

They're only allowing FR and Ravenloft on DM's guild for now. Eberron, Dragonlance, Greyhawk, Dark Sun, and Planescape are still not allowed.

I actually hope that they give another company some license to update and publish some of the campaign settings books and boxes. If for no other reason than to put that particular bug to rest. As for WotC, I don't think we'll see support past Forgotten Realms (Really just NW Faerun)...

I like to think the new format works for them in that selling a million books each year split between 3 titles is better than selling a million books each year split between 12 titles. Sent from my Pixel using EN World mobile app

I have to disagree on the notion of not enough product and the notion that the point is to get them to go out and buy other products. It's easy to buy a $16 box of D&D branded miniatures when I go to the game shop to play. The OCD collect them all aspect has me doing that regularly. They're...

D&D 5E (2014) Mike Mearls interview - states that they may be getting off of the 2 AP/year train.

I would subscribe to dungeon magazine. 2-3 dungeons and a smattering of DM options and advice each month would be nice. EDIT 1: Having said that, I looked at the price of the Paizo APs, and they look like $25 a book, once a month. I don't think I'd do $25 an issue once a month. EDIT 2: If...

Thanks for doing the summary man. I am absolutely whammied with allergies today and wasn't up for that. It's interesting what settings guidelines were included. Between that and the 'settings' sidebar on dmsguild, it gives you an idea of what settings they have on their minds.

[UPDATED] WotC & Goodman Games Partner To Reprint Classic Modules for 5E

I backed "How to write adventures that don't suck". If you want to have an idea about the interviews they're going to have, read the interviews in the updates to that kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1409961192/how-to-write-adventure-modules-that-dont-suck/posts/1792993

[UPDATED] WotC & Goodman Games Partner To Reprint Classic Modules for 5E

I feel like the forgotten realms campaign setting could probably be overhauled in this manner. Take the 3rd and 4th edition settings and re-edit them into a new volume with enough new text to show how things have changed in this area or that. I know that a lot of that information can be...

Official D&D Character Sheets Coming In June

I get it. I'm just a bit confused by the idea in the age of the internet and cheap printers. Although, may be cheaper than Inkjet cartridges.

What is the status of Cormyr in 5e?

I'm good with this. Cormyr is still a power. Not destroyed. Has a queen. Everything else I can pull from the 2008 document. Really looking at a character concept for a knight, and Cormyr seems to be the type of place that has knights and a royal hierarchy.

    D&D 5E (2014) Google Maps for Forgotten Realms (specifically 5th edition D&D)

That's the 3e or 4e map that can still be found on wizard's site, but is mostly hiding. I'm hoping that they get a 5e version at that scale sometime - hopefully commissioned by Mike Schley. I'd also kill to see someone import it to google maps.

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D 5.5e; Your wish for 5.5e update.

I would mostly add some optional rules designed to help keep things in the spirit of bounded accuracy. I would also remove or modify -5/+10 feats. I just don't like them. Sent from my Pixel using EN World mobile app

D&D 5E (2014) What would you put in Volume 2 of Tales of the Yawning Portal

I'm looking at our more seasoned members to put together lists. I'm much too green to do it myself. Looking for lists that could conceivably span a lvl 1-15 adventure. My only contribution is that I think B2 would make a great start to one of these. Then again, probably so would T1.

    D&D 5E (2014) What is "broken" in 5e?

All in all it sounds like there are some pretty good ways forward to a 5.1e sometime in the future that won't break compatibility with existing modules. Sent from my Pixel using EN World mobile app

    D&D 5E (2014) What is "broken" in 5e?

I would want to adjust multiclassing as well. Split the classes into caster/non-caster groups. If you multiclassing, you can have only one of each group type in your multiclassed character. This would strongly cut down on the OP combinations.
