I tested it out on my gen1 ipad and my ipad 2. the ipad 2 was faster. But still quite quick on the ipad 1. I then tried mirroring through my apple tv and it still worked great.

I would sugest not doing a web base. Some of the places I have gamed at didn't have internet. Another thought is do more than one program that you can link togather. Trying to do so much in one program can lead to disaster. not everyone wants or needs the same thing.

Has anyone else been playing around with the ios app "Air display'? It will let you mirror what is on your computer to your Ipad. So far I have tried Maptools, Herolab, Forgottem realms atlas. And have had them running fine. I have done this on a wifi only network. No internet.
