Which Adventure Path is the best?

Actually, there are long stretches of time during and between adventures.

What sort of product do you want to buy that no one is producing?

Heh, I just like ragging on the races

    Non Core in Dungeon?

Depends. Every month? No, not at all. Every once in a while, hell yes. I'd love to see some actual psionic adventures especially. Those are quite lacking.

Which Adventure Path is the best?

Yeah, I dunno, "Whispering Cairn" was just a really cool module, dripping with hints of ancient history, hidden malevolence, and, overall, the promise of epic adventures to come. "There is No Honor" I guess, just didn't grab me as much, though the zombie pirate part is great. I do like that it...

Which Adventure Path is the best?

Age of Worms, IMO, READS much better than Savage Tide, although, my opinion may change when ST is finished. I'm not sure that I'll ever run AoW, but damn if parts of it don't make me really want to! An assault on a city of giants? A gladiatorial match? A fight against THE dracolich and one of...

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

Deflection actually serves a purpose though, if you wanted to pair down the bonus types, you could easily choose a bunch of other ones (profane/circumstance/insight/etc)

What sort of product do you want to buy that no one is producing?

FIFY. What I want to see: Greyhawk 3.5 Planescape 3.5 Dark Sun 3.5 Expedition to the... um Rod of Seven Parts (needs a better name) Expedition to the Lost Temple of Tharizdun A Complete Book of NPC's (includes boatloads of pregenerated NPC's with notes on easily modifying them to other races)...

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

I rather like the Shapshifting variant in the PHBII and I'd probably consider using it as a standard replacement for druids. The mechanics are static, but it's freeform enough that 'predator form' can mean almost anything. Plus, it'd be much easier to churn out a pre-made statblock for it.

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

We wouldn't be having an argument if it were otherwise. I ran an encounter with, I think, a tendriculous in 3.0 which resulted in the players asking these very questions. Yeah, neither one is perfect. 3.5 kinda hoses cavalry charges, but I still prefer its simplicity to the stupid...

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

Yeah, polymorph needs to be looked at. There HAS to be a way to keep it as a flexible option without having it be a rules nightmare.

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

An exaggeration. An assumption maybe, not a well-thought out assumption when considering the oblong bases of 3.0. Because I use the 3.5 method. :) Maybe, but it's an abstraction, but IMO, a better abstraction than the 3.0 method. Yeah, but what are those corners? On the battlemap it looks...

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

How is it going to turn if PC's are surrounding it and what are the ramifications of it turning? Does it push characters out of the way? Does its head just switch with its back? If it doesn't turn, am I stabbing it in the side, the head, or the back? All easily answered if facing were in the...

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

That's fine, the zone of combat works better than the 3.0 method. If facing comes back, I'll deal with it, or I'll join the ruckus on the internet and complain about it like everyone else. And the corner case rule (ie allowing long creatures to turn as a free action) wouldn't be an abject...

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

Nope, well not exactly... When you have something that is 10 by 60 and it has a definite front and back, unless you are using a facing system, having the creature reposition itself during combat raises all sorts of questions. If the creature is facing one way, how can it bite a character that...

Worse Rules that game designers have made?

That would be cool. I could see basing the system off of the way psions are currently built. In every edition of D&D those questions always came up.... outside of combat. I ignored the facing rules even in 2e. :)
