D&D 5E (2014) Unarmed Strike. One damage plus strength?

I dunno, that seems unlikely to me. If the Hulk punches someone, it doesn't matter how few feats he's invested, that person is gonna get hurt. And get hurt for a lot more than just one damage.

D&D 5E (2014) Unarmed Strike. One damage plus strength?

Unarmed doesn't count as a light weapon? that seems a little...heavy handed.

    D&D 5E (2014) My All-Rogue Game

It's up to the DM to keep things going, but thanks, ha ha. I became an Assassin because the DM bumped us all up to third level. Which is funny because I'm the only Half-Orc in town. "Hey, when did we get a short, green waiter? And where did that rat killer go, the pest problem is out of control!"

D&D 5E (2014) Unarmed Strike. One damage plus strength?

Well that's a bit of a moot point, as we're all Rogues, ha ha. But I'd be inclined not to give unarmed fighting to Fighters, just because then what's the point of Tavern Brawler, yanno?

D&D 5E (2014) Unarmed Strike. One damage plus strength?

I can live with that. That's still pretty good, even if I don't get Tavern Brawler. Which I might.

D&D 5E (2014) Unarmed Strike. One damage plus strength?

Very straight forward, I can't find much about unarmed fighting in the book, it seems that I can do it the same as anything else, but that the disadvantage is it just does one damage. But, is that the case, though? Do we add strength to it? So, if I'm playing a Half-Orc with 16 strength, do I...

    D&D 5E (2014) My All-Rogue Game

    Oooh, that sounds mysterious.

    Napoleon versus Orcs

Hey man, thanks. And thanks for all this, this is very in depth. Hey, I haven't looked at the firearms on the DMG for a while, but do they have really long reload times? Because I want to remain faithful to that.

    D&D 5E (2014) My All-Rogue Game

So, a buddy ran a completely off the cusp game, and his one demand for us three players is that we all play Rogues, and we all be our race's equivalents of 18. (I wish I had known this prior because I was carefully crafting a Dragonborn Druid at the time, but it was no big loss. Character...

    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings Of The Corn

See, those look fine, I'm a fan of those. They look plucky, but they're also just a bit gritty. Boy howdy, those are some classic, timeless hairstyles.

    Napoleon versus Orcs

Yeah, I don't have the patience to create the world, so it's just earth but with fantasy stuff hanging around. Basically, alternate history of the magical variety. So, you know, everything looks familiar, but the presence of Trolls in the wilderness and great big Elven empires have kind of...

    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings Of The Corn

No joke, I would actually prefer to see those things in the PHB. Because they look awesome.

    Napoleon versus Orcs

Those are dope, man. Mind if I steal them?

    Napoleon versus Orcs

You know what, I'm overthinking things. I'll just have the muskets do absurd amounts of damage, but also be unreliable and inaccurate. You know, they're meant to be army weapons, not solo individual weapons so much. So, you have one shot in a combat round, at -2 to hit or something, and after...

    Napoleon versus Orcs

Yeah, which is why I'm gonna Homebrew it to ensure that never happens. Whether we just make it so you don't gain hitpoints until every five levels, or even if I have to do something really cheap and lame like "Muskets always scale up with the players.". Kinda like how Oblivion did it.

    Napoleon versus Orcs

Whizbang, that's actually not a terrible idea.

    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings Of The Corn

There ya go, champ, ya caught me. Seriously though. Go look at the Halfling artwork.

    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings Of The Corn

I mean, the art looks like they wanted to draw Halflings as though they had dwarfism, which I think is a cool nifty idea. But you don't achieve that by making them look like they're going to stand over your bed with a kitchen knife in their hands.
