    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

There's also an opportunity (heh) cost: Readying an action uses up the allotted Immediate Action for the round. By readying an action, Gruff forfeits the chance to make Attacks of Opportunity. That said, I'm fine with the way you're ruling, but I would ask to redo my post so as not to waste a...

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

It's from attacking with CA (Dazed) with a Subtle weapon. I see Specter 1 is not Dazed, though, and I had thought he was. Also, I saved vs. Weakened. Which happens first: the save, or the readied action? Readying an action is a standard action that sets up an Immediate Reaction on some...

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Gruff steps forward, revitalized. "They're weakening! Don't worry.. I've got the ghost thing handled" Move: Shift to K5 Minor: Second Wind (+2 defenses, +12 hp) Standard: Ready Dragon's Teeth for use after Radtash uses Astral Seal on any of the 3 creatures in my room. Dragon's Teeth vs...

To Catch a Crimelord, or Down the Rabbit Hole (garyh judging)

Grim takes a deep breath as he gazes up at the toppling figure of the man standing over him, and he eases up his grip on his already-swinging blade. Grim heals 7 hp (and does not expend Off-Hand Strike). Grim also gains 5 temp hp (for downing an enemy with a melee attack) dims, I think I've...

To Catch a Crimelord, or Down the Rabbit Hole (garyh judging)

Well, to be fair... it was a daily crit + an encounter. :P Rangers *are* fun, though. Grim is the first one I've played.

To Catch a Crimelord, or Down the Rabbit Hole (garyh judging)

Grim crawls forward, calling "Nice trick with the blade! Now come back- I'll show you a trick of my own!" Standard: Jaws of the Wolf (Miss = half damage) (1d20+6=24, 2d10+6=11, 1d20+5=25, 2d12+4=25, 1d6=4) Crit! That maximizes the 2d12 roll and the 1d6 quarry damage. Assuming a 24 hits AC...

Pay no attention to the relic of previous editions behind the curtain. :P (Thanks for setting me straight, THB... this will change my tactics :) )

Proposal - Modify the Raise Dead Cost

Should I be concerned by Renau1g voicing his concern about Raise Dead costs at this particular time?

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Erekose, sorry, but that's an invalid move. Charge has to be in a straight line, to the nearest square from which you can attack.

To Catch a Crimelord, or Down the Rabbit Hole (garyh judging)

Not at all. A charge is a standard action that allows you to move your speed. Move + Standard (charge) is effectively a double move with a melee basic at the end. Of note, a charge immediately ends your turn upon completion unless an action point is spent.

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Gruff calls out "Right then! Back to plan A!" He lands a solid hit on the wraith before disappearing and reappearing on the other side of the acidic fog. He strikes down the kenku that wounded him, then runs back into the hall to defend his fellows against the specter. Standard: Dual...

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Hey all. Sorry I've been inactive. I've been sacked with work to do over the last few days. I should be getting back into the swing of it shortly. In the meantime, feel free to rp Gruff as needed to move things along. I know how PbP can be frustrating when people don't post, and I never mind...

To Catch a Crimelord, or Down the Rabbit Hole (garyh judging)

Grim moves forward, pauses, glares at the halberd-wielding human, and charges into battle. Move: L17 Minor: Quarry Halberd Standard: Charge to L11 1d20+7=26, 1d10+5+1d6=16

Gruff wipes ooze and blood from his blade and takes a short rest.

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Gruff will take the +5 temp hp, thanks. All: the cube is not down the hole yet. If it successfully hits someone who is not Gruff on this turn, Gruff will pull it over the pit.

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Oh, Narvala... I was hoping to get my post up before you did something like that. Gruff can pull the Cube, which also gets you out (without an AoO.) Edit: it's ok, though.. this might work better. I'll edit my post. Also, we have a cleric and an artificer and no heals have gone out? Might be...

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Gruff moves away from the cube towards the Wing Mage and calls out "Gogmorthak! Get yourself out of that pit, and I'll drop this mass of jelly in it!" Throwing his sword at the mage on the run, Gruff scores a hit, and the mage winces as the blade bites deep. Move: Gruff moves to P4 Minor...

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Gruff visibly steels himself against the corrosive acids of the cube before slicing at it with a crackling of thunder. Minor: Second Wind Minor: Aegis of Ensnarement on Cube. -3 to hit anyone but Gruff. Standard: Booming Blade on cube Booming Blade (vs. Fort) (1d20+9=22, 1d8+5=13) Cube takes...

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Was redoing my action so as not to hold up the game. Deleted since Velmont was swayed by my arguement. :D Also, I forgot to mention that Lightning Lure will pull the Cube to K4/L5

    [Adventure]: Stormcrow Tor (Judge: THB)

Seems pretty simple to me. The power used is "Engulf", which says My argument is this: Dazed, as defined in the rules, does not remove any of your actions. When Dazed, you are limited to 1 action. When Gruff teleported, he escaped the grab and therefore is no longer dazed. Since he is no...
