Wrong, you dont mix caster level from different sources. A wiz 10 / sor 10 has caster level 10 for wiz & sor spells, not 20.

Well, next time he is not going to give any reply :) I have never played that class or seen it in action, but i dont think it is overpowered in any way. Maybe you want to share with us WHY you think/fear it is overpowered?

AFAIK there is no rule that you can CHANGE a spell you have... on the other side would it be that bad to allow a sorcerer to change spells? 1 per level gained? I dont think so, but that would be a house rule :)

Uhh... thats way too fast IMO, maybe make it 1 min, but i dont like that too... its the only thing sorcerers are better at then wizards, dont take it away from em!

Yes, the -2 penalty is for 1 round. PHB: "you get a +2 bonus on the attack roll" On "the" attack roll, not for 1 round... :)
