I would drop money on this in a heartbeat, especially if it means expanded content and art! I was really disappointed when the original Kickstarter didn't fund.
I would prefer the 3 volume configuration, since my group would benefit from additional art and content while still running the...
Fantastic thread! I was curious about this as well, but much too lazy to try and do the math myself. . .
Thanks to Ajar for the heavy lifting, and thanks to gideonpepys for the asking!
Would i be correct in assuming that a maximum of three creatures could stand in front of the Coaltongue's furnace to shovel out firegems? Perhaps only two?
d20KC,
I like these ideas, since they really dig a bit deeper in to personal philosophy (and alignment). How exactly would you phrase each question?

Hello there,
I wanted to thank all of those currently posting about their Zeitgeist campaigns, and ask for some input. Several of the threads pointed toward a Session Zero where the players answer questions about their characters. I was able to find the original list of questions that...
I just got my "hard" print copy of Island at the Axis of the World in the mail today, and was impressed enough with the quality that i went ahead and ordered books 2-4. Nice looking product.
When i read it, i thought to myself that his name seemed very authentic. It didn't even occur to me to research him.
So, handsome and woodsman-y or hostile and dangerous?
Was the basic physical description left out intentionally so that we could use our own vision, or was it simply an oversight? Was he modeled after any specific type of creature? Either way, how did others describe him, or imagine he looks?
Thanks for the quick response!
I'm gearing (get it?) up to run the 4E version of the AP for my group, so you'll be seeing some more threads pop up with questions from me. After running the Shackled City AP a few years back, i haven't really had the urge to dive in to another long-term...
Is the headless golem wandering the island the Colossus? I thought that the DM's Guide said it wouldn't be there until Adventure 5, so i thought i'd ask. Thanks in advance.
I've been trying to find the remake of the old 1E DMG picture of the adventurer trapped in the room with a skeleton as it fills with water. It was recreated later (in color, if i recall) with a female adventurer in the same predicament.
Can anyone tell me in which book the later picture can be...
Sounds like 'inconsistent' is a good description.
I'm curious, how far in advance did folks pre-order? Perhaps this might explain the inconsistency, if orders are being shipped in the order they were received?
I pre-ordered on February 26th.
Amazon got it to me on release day, even though it was slated for the 5-9 day Super Saver Shipping.
Dare I hope that the same thing will happen for the Core Rules Set on June 6th?
It's not hijinxs or shenanigans. I just bought a copy at Borders (and was able to get 40% off for joining the Borders Rewards thing). I can prove it too!
The 31st word (counting headers, numbers, and abbreviations) on page 66 of the adventure book is:
aBy the way, my plan was to come home...
Wow.
Given only the information presented in the original post, i would have advised against playing games with these guys again at all. After reading their responses to your email, i'd say it sounds like you're running a good game with some good players.
Thanks again for the thread.
