I just got my "hard" print copy of Island at the Axis of the World in the mail today, and was impressed enough with the quality that i went ahead and ordered books 2-4. Nice looking product.

Sounds like 'inconsistent' is a good description. I'm curious, how far in advance did folks pre-order? Perhaps this might explain the inconsistency, if orders are being shipped in the order they were received? I pre-ordered on February 26th.
