Rise of the Runelords is really really nice. It takes a lot of the traditional fantasy trappings that we are all used to, and without really changing them or being untrue to them, presents them in new lights that really bring the adventure alive. The goblins in Burnt Offerings, by themselves...

In my opinion balance is important only for the activities that the game is going to focus on, really, as has been referred earlier. With 4th edition one of the specific design goals was to balance everyone on the combat front instead of having non-combat be taken into account for combat...

I would like to say that I prefer balanced reviews, but honestly I feel that many 'negative' reviews are often just thinly veiled rages or rants and the system was never given a fair shake, especially RPGs. So of the options that seem to be out there right now, I prefer the positive reviews...

This is me, too. Half the games I run are PFRPG (Using Beta updated with what Final rules I know of until next week!) The other half of the games I run are 4e. In both cases, however, we run in Pathfinder's Golarian setting! Its just too good a setting that has everything I love about the...

One of the things I'm most surprised about is that there isn't a signifigant amount of Pathfinder Mods out there for NWN or NWN2. I wish I were better at using their tools to solve the problem myself... but... not the case.
