Yes, the Dragonlance Destinies trilogy is finished. Just got my copy of book 3. I miss the 3E-era Age of Mortals novels. They were well coordinated and took the setting forward.

How crunchy are the rules? What type of characters can you play? It's interesting to see it is written by Dominic Covey, author of Darwin's World.

How baked in is the setting? Could you pick up the game just for the mechanics and run it with a more generic fantasy world like Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms?

... To answer my own question. Troll Lord's have said Castle Zagyg Yggsburgh "will eventually be updated, but for now, you can get it exactly as it appeared in 2008." So I'll wait for the updated version when they roll out the full Castle Zagyg line.
