Would your group stop a woman from joining?

Yes, same experience here. While my core group was 30-something players, the two 18 year olds (one male, one female) I added were amongst the best role-players (and people) in the group. (Calendar) Age, gender, and sexual orientation are irrelevent. But then again, I'm a liberal. :)

Would your group stop a woman from joining?

I'd best go tell the two women in the campaign they're not allowed!

Why must special swords/weapons always be intelligent?

Ummmm, no. Sorry, but I think you've got the wrong end of the stick there. There is no *requirement* that weapons be intelligent. But furthermore, who says you need to stick to any rule as written? Its your game, dammit! Bah, rules! :]

    Tee-hee!

Yep, clerics are broken, but still no one wants to play them. 'Cept me! :) Shall I mention my 6th level war-cleric with +11 (non-munchkin) attack?

    Favored Class Rules?

Nope, don't use them. Then again, my players don't abuse the rules; in fact, they tend to go "against type" to match how they envision their characters, even if it it "hurts" them in terms of pure mechanics. Thank god for good role-players! :) Examples: One player started the game with a hook...

Errr, umm, alrighty, in that case I'll go with a cleric/barbarian if it comes to gestalt characters, otherwise stick to a cleric Beth, it sounds like we have 4 players now ith John--what about a plan E? What if we whip up a couple of extra characters (depends on what John is playing, but...

Beth, Sign ups are looking a little thin for the A time slot; are you expecting walk ups to fill this game out? Just want to make sure the game is still on, and if there is a plan B to fill the slots. Cheers, Scott

Looking for a good starter adventurer involving goblins?

Try "Dovedale" in Dungeon #46. Its for levels 1-3 and has a nice mix of bad goblilns and slightly more civilized ones. There is also module N2, "The Forest Oracle" that features goblins as the main adversaries. For levels 2-4. Of course both need a little conversion from 2nd Ed. :heh:

    Help controlling player wealth

Could you simply reduce the amount of *new* gear you hand out in treasure hordes by the same amount they scavange from dead PCs?

Beth, I'm interested in joining your game in the time slot A, if you still have room. Do you need to see characters before hand to ensure the party has balanced classes? FWIW, I was thinking of playing a cleric since in my experiece it is a tough class to find players for. Let me know...

Help me think of this Dungeon Adventure?

What is the "Base Level" of your Campaign?

Well, I guess I would have to be considered Low magic/low power. My base village of 700 people, where the current batch of PCs started, had this distribution: Ari2 (mayor) Exp4 (herbalist and main NPC) Exp2 (x4) (skilled craftsmen, including the blacksmith and tavern owner/local brewer) Exp1...

1st level Adventures...I hate 'em, and I need 'em!

I 2nd "Dovedale" (Dungeon #46) a nice combat/role-playing mixture vs. goblins.. and "Thirds of Purloined Vellum" (Dungeon #88) an investigation with combat vs. the BBEG's thugs. Actually, Dungeon #46 is well worth tracking down, either through Paizo (if they still have it in their back catalog)...
