All attacks that cause hp of damage that need hit rolls also criting isn't a bad thing at all. Area attack spells doing full damage to the specific target and then half damage to everyone else in the aoe woudl work fine by me, full damage and i'm a little iffy there.

He's more powerful. If they were scrolls what is a sign of a characetr with MORE...2 scrolls or 4 scrolls?
