    Ptolus - Where to get?

That assumes, of course, you're interested in such stuff. The adventure is nice, I guess, but I put it up on my shelf as soon as I removed it from the box, and it'll probley sit there gathering dust untouched till I move out and have to pack it.

    Ptolus - Where to get?

Stiggybaby is selling it for $35 off retail. Now I'm not so sure if one signature and a number was worth paying $35 more for. :)

    Rappan Athuk Reloaded at DTRPG.COM

For those who don't want to pay $50 for a PDF, pay $50 for the full thing. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1588467953/104-5830850-7351168?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155 Yeah, before anyone bursts in and cries "But Amazon doesn't have it!", they are in the process of shipping my copy of me...

Beholders - Help me find them

Mentioning the D&D movie is a bannable offense. Reported. ;)

    Anyone buying Dreamblade?

Running gag, but also echoed sentiment. If the figures were useable for D&D, I might pick them up, but I don't play the D&D Mini Game enough as it is, so I can't possibley justify buying a NEW minis game.

Beholders - Help me find them

Shackled City features a Beholder as a recuring foil.

    Anyone buying Dreamblade?

Their scale is a bit wonky. I have little interest in playing the game, if a figure comes up that looks cool I might buy a single on ebay.

"Instant Order Update for Ottergame. You purchased this item on July 12, 2006." :D

    Huge GenCon news.

This is exactly what happened to E3. It forgot what it was intended to be, an industry only trade show. It got to the point that it was a circus for kids and swag-seeking dorks, and that you couldn't actually WORK there as an industry tradesman. And so, the big names started pulling out for...

Not sure I'd get it, but I love that world map for some reason.

Amazon.com no more for game purchases: Hypothetical...

After the horrific way in which they packed and shipped Ptolus, I won't be ording from their online store. Dodged the bullet by getting one of the few Ptolus that wasn't mangled.

    What's your Ptolus number?

709, late may. And mine came in perfect shape, though it was woefully poorly packaged.

What's the big stink about Rappan Athuk Reloaded?

I may have to stop by Game HQ this weekend and check on it. It's been years since I went in there, but Game HQ used to be one of those NSFLGS (not so favorite). Good wide selection, but staffed by ur-:):):):):):):)s. It was hard to even get questions answered or have someone ring something up...

What's the big stink about Rappan Athuk Reloaded?

Not sure I have ever heard of a town called Mena. Did you perhaps mean Moore, in central OK? The only Mena I can find is in Arkansas.

What's the big stink about Rappan Athuk Reloaded?

I'm not sure of any local hobby store in central Oklahoma that is large enough to even try to get a copy. I honestly couldn't tell you any store which stocks Whtie Wolf products at all. The local ones sell D&D, and old backstock of stuff that's been sitting on their shelves for a decade. :(

What's the big stink about Rappan Athuk Reloaded?

It's a shame I'll never get to see this product, then. I missed out on the preorders of the boxed set, and I won't be paying 3 times markup on eBay the day after the product is released. And no, there's no freaking way I'll buy the PDFs. PDF isn't even a last ditch subsitute for me. It's...

Ever had a player get so bent out of shape over something small, then refused to play

The rolled up newspaper trick worked. ;) actually, it was a verbal newspaper, but he got a trashing by the other players. I think he finally realized how silly all his demands were being, he aggreed to play anything we'd push in front of him. I'm being nice and still restricting the game to...
