It was about half way through the game we were in a big orc encampment and just killed like a dozen of them, and he walks in with no weapons and yells in common something weird about his prowess then the DM rolled an intimidate check and the number he got he told us to make a will save that...

that should be engraved on every page of enworld...

I actually agree with everything you say here, I just think the quastions of "can I tell if he's lying" and "is that intimidating" to be things that sometimes need roles and rules it's not you I'm getting mad at it's the other guy but I think I need to calm down anyway.. as am I until people...
