Need advice for upcoming Gestalt campaign

Well, I'm not familiar with Crystal Lord, however, I can definately give some generic Gestalt advice (although most of these can get a little fuzzy): (spoilered for length) 1) Don't pair things that are too similiar. Sure, the Fighter//Barbarian looks good on the surface, as does the...

D&D 3.x Wizard limitations in 3e? Read first post before answering please.

Note that you're checking four hours after I pointed out a lack of certain things. Haste, for instance, is quite new to the list.

D&D 3.x Wizard limitations in 3e? Read first post before answering please.

Parameter 4 of lolstrider7's challenge: "What sort of assistance can the character lend to a party of characters?" You can't sneak the party into somewhere, you can't Haste them, and so on. For that matter, a simple chasam is going to give you difficulties (no flight that I can see).

You have very little in terms of item 4, helping other party members.

    a) The spellcraft DC is basically nothing. A 1st level Wizard with a lowly 15 Int and max ranks in Spellcraft has a +6 modifier. Taking 10, the wizard can copy a 1st level spell A 3rd level Wizard with a lowly 15 Int and max ranks in Spellcraft has a +8 modifier. Taking 10, the wizard can...

    Encounter Level for Overpowered Party

Hmm.... I'm not seeing any skillmonkeys in the group. Does anyone have a decent Spot modifier? Sure, the Sorcerer probably has See Invisibility... but if you're not actually invisible, that doesn't help. A stealth-focused sniping Rogue or Ranger in an area with some cover / darkness could...

    Wish and its limits

RAW, the Magic Item Creation clause of Wish has no fixed limit. That said, it's still limited: (emphasis added) So while you can Wish up +5 Heavy Fortification, Greater [Sonic, Fire, Electricity, Cold, & Acid] Resistance, Undead Controlling, Etherealness, Greater [Silent Moves, Shadow, Slick]...

    Treat Heavy Armor as Light?

Checking... Checking... it appears to be it's own thing. "This skin grants you a +8 armor bonus. The skin has a maximum dexterity bonus of +2, a -6 armor check penalty, and a 25% arcane spell failure chance. It is treated as light armor for the purposes of affecting class features and...

    Craft overlapping?

The Craft skills are poorly defined; that said, you do need the right craft skill by RAW (although as mentioned, Craft is usable untrained). However, you can still get some overlap! Few DM's would prevent someone with Craft(Leatherworking) from repairing leather armor, for instance.

    Spell Resistance and Casting Tiem

Ah, you do realize that per the description of Spell Resistance: "A creature’s spell resistance never interferes with its own spells, items, or abilities." So you're basically specifically nerfing casters of this race. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, mind, as casters are at the top...

    Shivering Touch alterations.

I'd be more inclined to make it "Fort Negates", myself, and leave it as is otherwise.

    The power of a curse

Actually, no. Magic items have their own clause in Wish: - but there's a drawback: By way of pointing out that the table doesn't say it changes to a specific race. Your race changes... at 'random' as chosen by the DM to be extremely inconvenient at the time (in a city of Elves? You're now...

    Building a stealth Gestalt Changeling

Ah... how strong do you want him to be? The Changing Factotum//Wizard can do wonders, for instance, and will be quite a skilled infiltrator / sneak (skills and magic). A Beguiler, out of the box, is very good for your primary. Secondary, just add anything combat-capable; warblade, maybe.

Do Druids Retain Buffs in Wildshape?

A Sorcerer with Greater Invisibility. Mr. Druid doesn't have access to See Invisibility, and True Seeing has a limited range. Add in, oh, Dimension Door and Magic Missile, and Mr. Druid has a big headache of 'plink, plink, plink' through his health.

    Lifesense vs. Superior Invisibility

Depends on circumstances. In an open field (or any area big enough to observe most of the circle of light), you should be able to figure out the five-foot square with only minor difficulty. In other circumstances, it'll be harder or easier depending on how things are laid out. Two items...

    Lifesense vs. Superior Invisibility

As far as the feat, Lifesense is concerned, a living creature is a source of light. Thus, they interact the same way that invisibility interacts with a light source:
