    The funny thing is...

I have to disagree. While most of the character images do lack good color, and i dislike the hard shading style of the covers, their are a few images I have seen that have really nice color and some of the landscapes are just wonderful.

    The funny thing is...

well the one with the dragon has a nice composition. I think It has a lot of fun potential color options with the dragon in the darkness with a possible soft glow coming from his mouth.

3.5e -- What REALLY needed fixing?

CoDzilla Its when a druid wildshapes into a strong melee form and then they buff themselves up to the point that they are stronger then a fighter, while still having spells left. clerics do this by using Divine power and other spells and feats like persistent spells.

    A Farewell to 3E (parts 1-3) - REVISED with Part 3!

Wow, That guy on the right, Adam is it? He looks almost like me. For a moment I thought I was living a double life. Honest. I wonder if somehow I had come into contact with MerricB and somehow stepped into the picture, Then I realized. I would never play a dwarf. :D

Advertisements for Movies, Video Games, Board Games...but not RPG's?

With the right animation, and a good tv spot, a d&d commercial could be done. It wouldn't be cheap, but it would be effective. With the right team, I could direct a commercial that would blow d&d into mainstream fantasy again. Hay wizards ya listening?

Blog post on the feel of D&D (marmell, reynolds et all)

I think the only true, educated and honest opinion one can have with limited exposure is a "wait and see" . we don't know alot about 4e, so lets just wait and see. I realize this opinion doesn't work well in a discussion though, and isn't nearly as fun, so continue, please. :heh: call me crazy

To the Designers: May we please have the DDXP errata?

as said before, I think careful shot is just a reverse of power attack. You sacrifice damage to hit better. Think about later levels if you get more dex... somehow? You could permanently increase your hit to nail those high ac creatures. It seems useful yet not powerful enough to use all the...

    Baker blog paladin and dragonborn

dragonborn in 3e also could breath fire or energy or whatnot. alternatively it could fly or gain blindsight, so this is really not a revelation. If they dident have these options, that would be more astounding news. But a confirmation is a confirmation, and news is news.

    I've solved Power Attack!

eh, I'm letting reality get in the way, if you fight an equal opponent and you foolishly over swing... a power attack if you will, then your dead. basically the opponent will meet your strength with weakness allowing you to miss and slide past his sword, and then all thats required is the...

    D&D 4E Multiclassing theory for 4e

yeah, it seems more like borrowing abilities, then actual multi classing. At least from a build standpoint, thats the single reason why people multiclassed.

    I've solved Power Attack!

Has anyone given thought to allowing power attack to be tad on the strong side in terms of damage. The hit roll would have a negative, and if the agent misses, the patient or receiver gets an opportunity attack? I think that would fit nicely what power attack is all about. Over swinging...

    WotC_Dave: Druid!

as ainatan said, if they don't cast spells while in wildshape it is not a problem. or at least it shouldn't be. If wildshape works as a move action or minor action to sustain or somesuch, people wont feel as vulnerable in wildshape and will be more willing to wildshape and be ok with casting...

    WotC_Dave: Druid!

thanks, If the 4e druid ends up not being as evocative as it should be, I will try my best to remake it while trying to barrow as much as I can from the old druids in d&d and the good parts of the new 4e druid. Unless necromancer does an awesome job and beats me to it.

It might be intresting if the 3 paragon tiers break the druid into advanced wildshape animal companion advanced nature and elemental magic with a summoning flavor

    WotC_Dave: Druid!

I would like to see a druid that uses wildshape for its utility rather then its combat. Turn into a bird and scout the land. Turn into a wolf and track your opponent. Turn into a house cat and spy on your enemy. Thats what made wildshape fun. I think that in terms of spells, the druid should...

    WotC_Dave: Druid!

I thought the idea of the ph2 wildhshape was a good idea, but I really liked having a animal companion. It wasn't worth the trade off. I also like the idea of druids summoning and controlling elements. Even if all these elements need to be broken down into into paragon paths, I still think they...

    Memorable Moments

I think I had a particular good moment when playing my vop druid Terran. He had the hots for a half drow whos cousin was being sold by her aunt. So Terran naturally wanting to please this half drow offered to saver her cousin. he scoped out that she was going to be held in a particular tower for...
