    Sage Advice Compendium Update 1/30/2019

And BTW I am not saying if you disagree with me you're wrong and I'm right, I am mainly saying that I can see coming to either conclusion could be valid at this point. I'm just more in favor of my interpretation and mean no offense to anyone who sees it differently than I.

From the PHB Shield Master You use shields not just for protection but also for offense. You gain the following benefits while you are wielding a shield: If you take the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action to try to shove a creature within 5 feet of you with your shield. It...

    Playing the underdogs

To be clear, I mean underpowered as in "all the guides says this choice is not good." Or "everyone at my store/home game says this sucks". But you make it work, and even surprise people and show them that it's not always about picking the most optimal choices, but about teamwork and fun. This...

From the PHB in the Fighter section of class abilities, "Extra Attack Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. The number of attacks increases to three when you reach 11th level in this class and to four when you reach...

    Playing the underdogs

Who out there in RPG land has picked a class or subclass that was ruled "underpowered" or "why would you ever pick this option over the others" and had a great time in spite of being the underdog? I would love to hear your stories. I myself enjoy playing the underpowered class from time to...

Since you can split up your attacks with movement, I don't think you must commit all attacks of your attack action before you get to use the bonus action shove. Just like you don't have to use all attacks before you can move. I would say that you have to take at least one attack first before...

D&D 5E (2014) yes, this again: Fighters need more non-combat options

I play a DeX based elven Eldritch knight. He switch hits between rapier and shield or bow. He can tank, support with ranged damage, do magic damage, stealth, and has knowledge due to higher intelligence. He is a blast to play and I have never felt he was useless in or out of combat.

D&D 5E (2014) My (Personal) Early Evaluation of the D&D 5thEd System – Wall of Text

My impression of PF2 playtest so far has a feeling of 4th ed. It doesn't feel like crunchy 3.5 anymore and isn't smooth enough to be like 5th edition.

After Waterdeep what should be the next FR adventure?

Put me down for a Pirate/Sinbad adventure.

Pathfinder 2E Doomsday Dawn-How goes the playtest with the adventure?

Just wanted to hear from people how their live play is going. How smoothly does the game run? How are the classes panning out? How is GM'ing the new edition going? How do the players like it so far? I haven't been able to do a playtest session yet so I am curious to hear from you guys and gals...

    Skill Feats In Pathfinder 2

That uses glide-like cloak and grappling hooks to not die when he lands. If Batman can jump off a skyscraper and land on the ground without something used like gliding or grapplehooks, that's new to me.

[PF2] What will be the release schedule of PF2

Has anyone heard or read what the release schedule of PF2 will be? Are they planning on a slow release schedule of 5E proportions or a fast release schedule like PF had? What is the advantages/disadvantages of either approach for Paizo?

    D&D 5E (2014) Disintegrate Vs. Druid

The problem I see saying class over spell is that would allow the half orc or barbarian to trump disintegration. Even though Jeremy said it does not. Imagine a barbarian and Druid at the table and both are hit by disintegration spells. If you let the Druid live by ruling his class mechanics...

    D&D 5E (2014) I don't want to homebrew anymore...

I'm interested in how you adjusted from to 5E. I was wanting to do the same thing.
