As Umbran says, if you want to have "Bronze Age" Orcs, the best way is to say they simply don;t have acces to the ores. It means Orcs will want to raid iron and steel from their neighbors or invade mining areas and take slaves to work the mines.

I'd be fine with the party deciding to kick in a door. Just sub STR/Athletics in for DEX/Stealth, if the party fails then the door failed to open, they made noise and the enemies are alerted.

My post had nothing to do with death spiral. I was stating that going from "0hp and less than 0hp" to "fully healed in a few days" through "natural healing" was not at all releastic. Thus all D&D healing is at best supernatural or magic compared to real healing rates. Your opinion. I think...

Not sure I'd call that "Mary Sueism". Considering the hell that character went through immediately after becoming "immortal". Dying ain't pleasant and I think the death count is up to 20 or 30 times now?
